Simple but nice local alternative to dining at area resorts. Reasonable prices with most dining selections around or under 15,000 TZS with 2,000 for limited juice choices. Food was tasty and not over seasoned. Nice Tamarind and Chili sauce.

Great food for fair prices and remarkable service 👌Weve had the Seafood Plate (40k TSh) and local style fish (15k TSh). The seafood is grilled unlike what were used to in Europe where its usually raw, boiled or just slightly grilled. So something different for me, I enjoyed it! The fish was on point. Also enjoyed the mashed potatoes with the buttery taste.Fresh juices (2k TSh) and fruit plate for dessert (5k TSh) all done fresh with the sweetest Mango Ive ever had.The service was quick and attentive. The owner appeared when our food arrived and seemed genuinely interested in our opinion without being too pushy (like you often experience here). When we left by foot unnoticed by him, he drove after us and gave us a lift to our hotel.Certainly a highlight of our trip!

I have to say the fresh organic chicken is amazing.spices very minimally with salt and lemon.Octupus I had was seasoned well and I had Ugari which is a maze side dish with coconut milk tomato curry on the sideThe service was good and can definitely improve if the waiters would recommend the daily catch

Calamari or Octopus is 15,000TZS. I usually eat a lot, and this portion of food was enough to me. Thier chips and rice were very good. Before visiting here in the evening, prepare mosquito repellent.

Not expensive and tasty, but there is no alcohol. The restaurant is right on the road, so you do not need to look for an entrance to it. Surprisingly, it is very cool. We ordered octopus, tuna and many different freshly squeezed juices. All prepared with dignity.

We ate there several times, it tasted better once and worse. French fries were under-fried, and the seafood was so deep-fried that it was dry.however they were always fresh. Plus low prices. Service not very active and not very smiling for Zanzibar (I compare it to people met on the street, from whom one usually feels like). We also ate the same silver hotel and much better, but not always - twice as expensive. A large card with the word free wifi hangs at the bar, but you did not want / could not enter your password. I recommend checking and forming your own opinion.
