Very disappointing experience. Photos on Booking are far from real, location shown on map both in Booking.com and Google maps is incorrect (that’s why I add a real one). The lodge is dirty, looks like construction site. Rooms smell badly as it seems it is allowed to smoke inside. Beach is 3 min walk away through dirty streets of Nungwi. Beachside is crowded and far from that seen on the postcards. The manager running the place was nice though. Do not recommend strongly. We even cancelled our stay for 3 nights and found much better option instead.

The location is deceptive. Its no even close to beach - the location on Google is in wrong place. Its 150 m away in land.In main yard there were construction going on.

We were greeted very nicely and given a welcome drink straight away. Instead of 2:00 p.m., we were able to check in at 12:00 p.m., since we were there earlier. The room was very simply furnished. But everything is quite clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The food is delicious. The catch of the day was amazing. The breakfast is very simple and not a highlight. However, the portions were too small for us. The beach can be reached in 10 minutes and is beautiful. The village can also be reached in 10 minutes. The locals are very friendly. An ATM can only be found in 40 minutes. To the other beach, behind the village, on the other side, its a 30-minute walk. This one is much nicer. For 2 nights and as a start in Zanzibar it was great.

We rested in this guest house, not in a hotel, this definition does not even remotely refer to a hotel from 4 to 13 February 2021. Theft!We checked into this hotel because of our overbooking. On the third night, the girl on the second floor was robbed. The thief climbed onto the fence, the air conditioner unit and into her window. Stole a bag with money and a phone. The security guard was sleeping
