I love Kilimani House so much that I have already been a guest there 3 times. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. The place being on top of a hill, it is super quiet and has nice views. I enjoy a lot being in such a luscious environment and out of the village, and yet still just a few minutes away from the beach and the centre (when I am out at night, a ride by motorbike taxi and you are home in no time). Santos prepares the best breakfast I have had in Tanzania, bonus points for some of the fruits coming from their own garden! Juma will book you a taxi anytime you need, which is very convenient. I especially like the facts that the house is built integrating both local techniques and environmental-friendly techniques (such as the water tank), that they have built most of it by themselves and that you can see this is a family home, with the advantages of a couple by a local and an European (we get the best of both worlds) and an adorable little boy. Plus, during low season it is not a very hot place and you have a nice breeze. Since the first time I was there (5 years ago), the neighbourhood has changed a lot: there are more houses around (meaning better lighting at night) and electricity has been installed (which means there are now fans!).

Really relaxing! Its not in the center so you need to walk about 10 minutes to the beach. Juma the host is friendly and if you need something you just need to ask him.

Super nice place! Best breakfast in Sansibar with fresh fruit from their own garden :) Juma and Santos, the owners made us feel like home! You dont even need a fan or AC , because the house is on top of the hill.

Peaceful, gorgeous place with lots of privacy and good vibes. The lovely couple that run and own the rooms will welcome you and make you feel right at home.

Very nice and homely guesthouse in Nungwi. The hosts are great. Rooms are cozy, comfortable.Beach is approx 15 min by foot.Value for money.

Very nice guest house (decoration, garden etc), ideally located in the heart of the village of Nungwi, run by hosts, Santa and Juma, always smiling, helping, with good advice and available !!!Santa accompanied me one afternoon to show me the best places in Nungwi.The homemade breakfast is excellent!The room was large and clean.Many thanks to Santa and Juma for their wonderful welcome !!I recommend this establishment.

Even if the bosses werent there, the staff took care of them, the breakfast is really great, the place is fantastic for relaxing and getting to know the place.

Sympathetic, clean room. Prices for breakfast and dinner are definitely too high in relation to what we receive.
