Hi everyone. I had been staying in Avocado house for approximately one week in September 2021. It is situated about 10 minutes walk from a beach, souvenir shops, and a small grocery. General impression is GREAT 🥳The hosts are a young couple who were very nice and amiable. On my arrival they provided transfer from the airport and gave me all information I needed about tours. Moreover, one of the things I appreciated the most is that when I had any questions, the host Anna gave me all support via WhatsApp before my arrival and replied to my messages promptly.The room was clean, extremely spacious, and with AC 🥶A restaurant was quite lovely and with comfortable with sofas. The breakfast was delicious. Another good thing about their restaurant is that the food and drinks 🍻🍺🍷are at affordable prices. I advise those who like seafood to try Avocados seafood soup. It was so amazing that I didnt order anything else when I had my dinner at Avocado house.Sometimes I was lacking a kettle in my room but it is not a disadvantage that would prevent me from not giving the highest rating. It is not a hotel after all 😁

A little bit hided and laid back but super lovely nice place. In less than 5mins youre walked down the way to the beach.Staff is very welcoming and super friendly and helpful with all your needs.The common area is made up with nice decoration and relaxing sofas.The WiFi connection is good and quiet reliableThe breakfast is HUGE 😳 it comes with a fruit plate and a choice of egg... But its always ALOT. Like, if you order pancake, it will be three big ones. Not one small one as in other places.The rooms are spacious, having well maintained and really cooling A/C. Bathroom has warm water. The only small negative point could be the mattress... For me it was too soft but that is an individual thing so I dont give it a minus-star.Definately a very very good choice and nice in price/value when staying in Nungwi.

Nice stay, accommodation is good, room is clean, hotel surroundings are neat and well maintained and excellent food, breakfast offered is also good. Access road to the hotel from main road is horrible but hotel is good. Per night for single bed room for 2 persons costs like 35$.

Nice accommodation, excellent food but unfortunately almost every night until 04:00 the nearby club will not let you sleep. The noise is extremeIf its not a problem for you go ahead, take the room... I couldnt get over it, so my rate is just 2

Good room and breakfast. Cute place. We missed having room service because our room was full of sand and we couldnt clean it.

Nice place to stay! Great staff, the waiter Dula is the best, cheff makes the best food in Nungwi, the recommendation is octopus, tuna steak and pasta with white sauce 👌 and rooms are really clean. In the garden is also nice place for chilling.

It is a wonderful place with beautiful sunsets where you can enjoy all the fantastic colors of the ocean.I really liked being in this hotel: the food was amazing especially the mediterranean soup, dorado steaks and toasts with avocado.All staff was very friendly and helpful.My hotel room was clean and cozy with cleaning on demand.The location of the hotel was perfect both for shoping and swimmind in the ocean.I spent a wonderful time in this hotel.

Avocado house is a very very beautifull Place.All you can need in a place like ZanzibarClean, near a splendid beach, vladimir is a very good guy, and the price is very good.

Nice helpfull staff, gave me brekfeast 1 hour before official time since i had to go to field trip, they are willing to make your stay welcome and good experience. Location is unique and advanture on its own.

Nice, nice accommodation close to several beaches. The two housekeepers are extremely helpful with all questions.Rooms are clean and if you want, you can get them cleaned. Breakfast alternated between eggs and pancakes every morning.Always my pleasure.

Stayed here 6 nights to walk to Nungwi beach. The place looks like a typical southern resort hotel. It reminded me very much of my native Odessa Zatoka. The room is clean and spacious. There is an air conditioner and a fan. Cozy well-kept courtyard with a gazebo, which is a pleasure to return to after the beach. The price includes a hearty breakfast (fruit is served first, and then the main course). Very pleasant service, attentive hostess. All our requests were granted. From the hotel to the beach min. 5-7 walk. It is worth considering that the shortest road to the beach leads through the landfill. It’s unusual at first, but then you get used to it. A separate impression was left after the kitchen (there is a restaurant on the territory). I was pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian burger. Very tasty, better than some specialty vegetarian restaurants and one of the best Ive tasted.

We stayed for 15 days: a very warm welcome, a very professional team, Vladimir the boss and his wife Anna were able to listen to us, responding to each of our requests ...very neat and well placed hotel (about 400 meters from a paradisiacal beach), the waitresses: ZULFA and HALIMA have always been present with a broad smile, the cook :: chef MEDDY amazed us by the quality of the dishes !! to sum up, we are delighted and we highly recommend this hotel !!! Since we chose the cheapest option, the expectations are appropriate. Rooms are clean, cleaned, towels are replaced, air conditioning works, hot water is available.You do not need more for the night.The beach is not far and the beach is beautiful.Owners from Russia will suggest and tell you what you need.

Quite by accident, my wife and I ended up in this hotel and were very pleased! The owners are nice Russian-speaking people who helped us with everything and always. The hotel itself is small but very cozy and quiet. There is a restaurant on the territory with an excellent menu (there is even mashed potatoes :)) and very reasonable prices, lower than in other establishments. Delicious and hearty breakfasts. Rooms are spacious, each room has a ceiling fan, air conditioning, hairdryer and furniture where you can put things (not everywhere in Zanzibar). There is also a wonderful hammock on the territory, you can fall asleep in it even in the rain as it closes and does not get wet :)) Since the hotel is not on the first line, you need to walk 10-15 minutes to the beach, but it does not bother at all. The hotel also has a generator in case the light goes out, which happens often.

Russian friendly hosts, great staff, everyone speaks good English, I liked the breakfasts !! The area is very cozy! Nice place for a reasonable price 👍👍👍
