Wonderful. It’s unbelievable how well manicured it’s lawns are. The staff are also friendly but in my opinion appear underpaid. They look sad

Oh my goodness...very lavish!Felt very spoilt.Foodserved in copper pots...great idea t oi keep food warm...delicious.Very nice kids menu.The gardens show how magnificent God has created our world.Excellent playground fenced off so safe BUT no shade... not good for kids or carers .This was a family trip while two went to hospital the other 4 stayed here.Cleaning was reasonable. Service in restaurant great.

This hotel straight away puts you in holiday mode. The views are amazing. The rooms are pretty. (I was lucky to upgraded to a suite and it was so pretty. Their food is tasty and fresh, their breakfast options quite etensive. Rooms are clean and quiet so you are assured of restful sleep. It also has a kiddy area making it very kid friendly

We went here for the lunch. Food is good.However, be warned about the taxi service! We ordered a Taxi via the Hotel and got scammed! The taxi did not have seat belts and when we arrived the driver asked for 5 times the normal rate!! The ride was 2 min from the hotel to the airport. We first refused to pay the absurd amount and offered (slightly higher than) the usual rate.He refused and then approached his buddy from airport security. The airport security refused us entry unless we paid the absurd amount. We told the guard that we wanted to pay a fair price, not get scammed. But he just repeated we had to pay or we would not be allowed in and miss our flight.The scam taxi driver: Fat, sweaty guy, driving a tiny grey Toyota. DO NOT GET IN THIS TAXI!Booking the taxi via the hotel we thought would be a safe and reliable taxi. But this is in no way the case! Horrible experience I would not expect for a hotel to have arranged...

Malaika Hotel is one of the coolest places in Mwanza (Rockcity) its clean the grass is green and neat...good view and hospitality..the staff is friendly..food and room service is dope too. Had a nice time.

Its a very nice place with delicious dishes at very affordable prices,...Also they do have rooms,casino,swimming pool and pub.Their waiters are welcoming.

The environment is just peaceful for those of us who love water, and outdoorsy, calm. The food to die for. The bar is stocked and the hospitality is satisfactory. Looking forward to go back again.

Beautiful property. Great pool. Stunning view and great food in the restaurant. Friendly and professional staff. Incredibly welcoming. Lots of little extra touches and top notch customer service. Lovely rooms with sitting area, big shower, soaking tub and a balcony. Wifi kept disconnecting in the room. It worked well in the restaurant though. The morning I left things were a bit disorganized and my room did not have a do not disturb sign and staff came in when I was in bed twice. However, overall it was a great stay at a great place. Was traveling on business but this would be a fantastic holiday get away location for sure.

Should be in the top of your list to visit this place once it Mwanza.Like the meaning of the name Malaika (Angel) it surely is a blissful and memorable place to visit.With a restaurant facing the lake and a golf like garden the place is mesmerising and a must visit.

Amazing place facing Victoria lake

Enjoyed my stay at this lovely resort. The room was a nice size, and the large bathtub was a wonderful treat. My view over the pool and lake was perfect, and the staff took great care of me as issues arose. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the brand new nightclub on the adjacent property is fabulous. The only downside for me was the fact that there is no longer an actual beach due to Mother Nature, but it was still relaxing just to be by the water. Ally took great care of me, and the wait staff at breakfast was superb. I thoroughly enjoyed my nanase na Mimosas ❣️

Amazing view, very kind staff and did I mention the view? If your going just to the restaurant like we did you hafta pay admission to enter the resort. They give you coupons, and when you leave, if you still have your coupon, they give your admission fee back. I got the pan fried steak with mushrooms and french fries. It was very good, overall our group was impressed with the food. Very classy place.

This is a modern, high quality hotel, but it feels like it has no soul. Some of the staff are excellent, but some dont seem too bothered about the job they do. When you work in reception it is important for the reputation of the hotel that you try to be as helpful as possible. One receptionist in particular appeared not to care too much about her role.The food is of a good standard, if not exceptional. The room we stayed in was of a large size, with a large corner bath and large walk in shower. The bed was large and comfortable. Access to the room was up a long flight of steps, but had decent views over Lake Victoria. However, the building that houses the various dining rooms and bars is situated between the hotel rooms and the Lake, therefore obscuring the view, at least partially.While our stay was comfortable, I wouldnt recommend this hotel above others in the area, and I would not return there.

Calming and Relaxing Environment.... Very Good Hotel Service. One of the Best Hotels I have been to

Rooms are huge even the toilet has big space! Only CON - you have to walk and most likely use the stairs to your room (imagine your baggage). We had an elderly with us who have difficulty in walking/balancing due to age. One of their male staff really asked for a tip when he brought our bags to the room (dont get me wrong, I do tip I just dont like the feeling of being asked for it bluntly). Restaurant staff are very friendly. Food is very, very good. The restaurant location has some (sort of) mosquitoes so spray some insect repellant before going to dinner. Breakfast was delicious. Wifi works well considering the area is big. Overall, great hotel!
