A very beautiful waterfall in a very beautiful location. A must see if you have the chance. In order to get to it you have to work your way down a steep trail which can take about 10-15 mins. If youre not in some type of good shape, it can get tiring. During the rain season, it all can be pretty slippery so you must be very careful. The guides will help you.Its all worth it once you get down there. The water is usually pretty cold, but getting your feet wet wouldnt hurt. The guides will offer to assist you with anything as well as taking some pictures, so make sure you have good tip money.Enjoy!
We visited Ndoro waterfalls near Marangu as part of a cultural tour with Nyange adventures. It is a nice waterfall, quite cold water, most likely snow meltwater from Kilimanjaro. Popular also with the locals for a swim. I would suggest to bring some rubber watershoes since there are some rocks on the riverbed. Not to be confused with the materuni falls which look similar but are somewhat to the West of Ndoro.
Its good waterfall with beautiful environment, here we welcome you
The trek to the falls is very challenging, especially when its wet and muddy. However, once there, you are blown away by sound of fresh water falling, birds chipping, and fresh air. If youre not too confident, you should consider using a guide, although i think it is not necessary. The route is fairly safe on dry days.
Loved it. Beautiful waterfall surrounded by rainforest-like vegetation. Getting pricey, though. Hopefully youll be able to get it for 10,000 tsh instead of the 20,000 tsh theyre asking now.
Great Waterfall ,melting Snows of the Kilimanjaro in the Eastern wing ,the windward side facing the Indian Ocean 350 kms away.
Great place nice view but the trip up the hill.. I burned alot of calories..

Wonderful...
Quite an adventure
There is a fairly steep path to go down, which then you have to go back up of course, to see the falls, which are more or less what you see in the photos, they are beautiful and have a pool where you can bathe.Im not very funny about the heavy vehicles waiting for you at the top of the road, you have to go down about 10 minutes and go up about 15, to provide you with a stick to help you on the way up and then ask you for a tip and meanwhile, yes they can, put some chips to some girl, but come on, nothing worrisome otherwise well.
The waterfalls are very beautiful and suggestive.Too bad it was a bit cold and I couldnt dive inside. To get there, take a path between houses immersed in the forest full of banana, avocado and mango trees.Wonderful and adventurous journey.I paid for a guide who came to moshis to pick me up with the tested car and the packed breakfast. Then they took me and assisted me all the way.Of course if I did independently I would have spent half but it is right that peoples time has a value.
Hard hike there. Very bad ground.
Enchanting and evocative place. To get there, the descent is a bit challenging but the ascent is even more so. It is worth it
Keep going downhill after rain has fallen but worth the stairs with nice nature and a nice waterfall. Can be hard to get back but worth a visit
Recommended, a chance to walk a bit outside of the safari jeep ... The trail is slippery and steep.
Beautiful natural site. Easy access
The waterfall is superb
