A good place, clean with a really good price . Thé manager and thé staff are very l’influence, they try to make your stay a good stay. They can also organize a trip to see thé chimpanzés and a lot of thinks like going in a vaudou market. I will come back for sure

The place has an old plantation feel sprawling over a hill with magnificent views. Its quiet and close to town. They missed a few potentials with the Nyerere room which could have had great views from the balcony or a bedroom but now sits with a useless dining room. The Mandela room also has a terrible concrete dish outside and small windows that makes it feel like prison. The Kikwete room is the best in my opinion, reasonably priced, expansive, beautiful views right from the bed minus the annoying mosquito nets and fence blocking any decent pictures. Staff were so helpful, didnt get to eat there but if breakfast was any indication, it would have disappointed. Overall would definitely go back if in Kigoma again.

Its a very nice budget hotel in a hilly part of Kigoma. 25.000 TZS rooms have bathrooms with hot water attached, as well as big bed, mosquito net & fan. wi-fi didnt work, but it was supposly a provider issue. simple breakfast is included & in the evening they can also provide some dinner meals. pleasant outdoor sitting area near the reception, with free ginger tea & coffee in the evenings. only 10 min. walk to town center.

Leaders lodge is a most beautiful place to accommodate, the place is conducive to dwell with family, plenty drinks and delicious foods

All the staff was very friendly, open and helpfull.Comunication with the women was a little bit difficult because they don t speak English. But they always smiled and were busy to help us.We enjoyed the small independent sitting room where we could have dinner.The owners kindly offered us a welcome coffee when we arrived after our long trip by bus. It was even possible to have breakfast starting early (6 oclock)The room was light and clean, the wooden furnitures are really nice, well choosen. Even the bathroom windows are decorated. Hot water was availible and the shower worked soon.All arround the house you con find flowers and trees. Very lovely! In the morning there is no car noice but only bird singing.But you can easily reach the center by foot. You will arrive at small markets, 3 banks ecc.in only 10 minutes (by foot) Also the station and the port arent far.

Very nice place. Good price (around 20 USD double room/night). Friendly and really helpfull staff. Clean and confortable room and common areas. Terrace. Nice views from the balcony upstairs. You can order lunch and dinner. They prepare lunch boxes if you want (if you are going to Gombe Stream National Park, for example). Evening coffe is for free. Can be little noicy at night (depend on how respectfull other gests are at night). Very nice family atmosphere.

Initially planned a stay for one night but the service and the cleanness of familydriven Leaders Lodge convinced us to extend. We had good internet, hot shower and a spacious, clean room & felt very save during our whole stay. The englishspeaking management helped us organizing all the tours we wanted to Gombe NP and lake Tanganyika including insider information. Food was delicious and good value for money. The road up to the hotel is a little bumpy though in bajaji but it was just a 20 min walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the train station so we preferred to walk.

I stayed at leaders lodge for four days and felt warmly welcomed by the staff of the place. Its location is very good, accessible from Centers and its safe place with calm environment for work and resting.

Hot water too hot, and toilet didnt flush in the Mandela room (TSH50k). Decent brekkie though and very friendly staff.

I had a good stay here and its satisfactory, Old but classic!

The surrounding are clean and very quite, I real enjoy free coffee drinks

A very good hotel.Clean, comfortable, good value for money. And even Tanganyika is visible.Hot shower, well working air conditioner, fan, good wifi.The staff is excellent, but does not speak English well, the translator will help you and all your questions will be resolved.
