New VIP rooms are classy for such small establishment, altleast now you get smart Tv with a free Netflix account ready to be used, only problem is food waiting time if you order rom service

Haha very affordable.. very cottagy..but not for tourism.. for anyone visiting TZ for work and wants to save thier per diem, this is ze place to go 😆 .. Personally havent stayed with them, but my friends did.. and they couldnt stop praising the place.. Also had a chance to look around while picking/dropping them.. the cottage look and feel is pretty great. Its also close to the main malls.. and cheap food joints..Value for money 💯

The design is so beautiful, and the place is humongous. They have really good services but I was quite impressed with the facilities. Everything was really more than par for an Inn my humble opinion.

Cheapest price place of good timber for roofing

Staff are friendly. The rooms are clean and the water is nice and hot. So the shower was good. The buffet breakfast is uncreative as its basically the same limited food everyday.

The rooms are nice however staff were making so much noises. I tried to call reception but it did not help. It was annoying experience. My afternoon was horrible.

We stayed at Wistas Inn on two separate nights and were pretty exhausted when we first arrived. The folks at the front desk do speak English. We were prepared to pay cash, and by doing so got a discount from the regular rate. The rooms had air conditioning, which we American Midwestern folks were relieved to have. They upgraded recently to having key cards for their rooms. The beds were comfortable and the shower and bathroom were clean. Bar soap is provided. There is a refrigerator in the room which we used to cool our drinking water. And the interior courtyard was very pleasant and included a couple of tortoises. The breakfast was included in the room rental, and there was a nice variety of food. Plus we could have cooked-to--order eggs. I would stay there again.

Weve been staying at Wistas since late 2011 or 2012. Its our go-to hotel in Dar es Salaam. Located at the end of a quiet street, its within walking distance of Mlimani City Mall, offers free WiFi, good breakfast and comfortable, open air restaurant. The outside environment is very pleasant and well maintained; its a garden in the middle of the city. Regular rooms are small, basic and clean, at reasonable prices. Staff is helpful, with laundry service, room service and assistance arranging taxis.

Always a good slot to crash for a night or two during transits or needing to get to and from the airport. Friendly staff, good beer, cold drinks and food. Rooms are comfortable and good showers

The manager is a very aggressive person. He does not care at all about people. He has twice removed me because he double booked people and made me leave. One of those times he woke me up in the morning and made me leave without any warning. I would NEVER stay here if I were you. He is that bad of a person.

Ive stayed for 5 nights. The place is quiet, easily accessible, the rooms are cleaned daily. I also loved the green scenery. Only thing I didnt like is the breakfast.

The place provides best accommodation despite of the warm weather in Dar es salaam but it steel the best. THE hotels vegetation remains me about the northern circuit (Arusha).

Accessible and close to shopping and banks at mlimani city and easy to move to town airport or any other pary if the city

..Spent 90 days... an excellent, neat - clean, calm, green self -contained board and lodge... best value for its price......pretty much a home away from home.. walking distance to modern Mlimani city mall (University of DSM)...away from congested city center... above all friendly staff and owner...I bet .. you once there, will always return to Wistas...

When it comes to budget accommodation within the residential estates of Dar es Salaam, there are very few challengers to Wistas leafy charm, understated elegance and efficiency of staff, the parking lot was a bit dicey but everything else was tip top. Its proximity to Mlimani City Mall was quite an added advantage.
