Good central location, clean, resonable price for foreign travelers, especally since impacted by covid. Casino facility attached on ground floor. Not many stores in the facility but local stores within walking distance. Friendly staff, basic workout room.

Harbourview has always been home awau from home for me anytime iam in Dar Es salaam .The reception team is Friendly .the rooms are always up to standard the food and the restaurant team always amazing

Booked a room with a great view of the harbour. Hotel staff are pleasant and friendly, and are willing to do everything to make your stay comfortable.Food at the restaurant on the 9th floor is not great. You may want to try the restaurant on the ground floor, on the way to the Casino. Their food is excellent!

Great location for business meetings in Dar and nice views of the harbour. The Indian food at the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are comfortable, although there is a wide range of different room layouts. Try to get a room on the upper floors since they are the most recently renovated ones.

Needed a last minute place to stay after a change of plans to leave Zanzibar a day early to prep for long flight home out of Dar. Harbour View was a good deal on a two-room suite. Used the airport shuttle for $35 (worth it to not deal with local taxis). Room was very clean and spacious, with comfy beds and excellent air conditioning, plus balconies. Breakfast buffet was very good and restaurant had an extensive menu for lunch or dinner. Plus a pool to help the kids burn some energy and a decent workout room.

Been there for almost 4 days and my oh my its a place you would want to visit when in Dar... its at the city center. Easy to get to.. amd easy to get to other places while there...The food is top notch prepared by best chefs and i enjoyes every bite.....The suits are amazing and spacious with indoor kitchen with all the necessary equipments...Staffs are friendly and the servises are 24/7.The Atmosphere is amazing for its close yo the sea.. with a great view of the city and the harbour.The restaurant was my favourite place for it had the Parisian ambiance with smooth jazz playing at the background.....

Nice location if you need to catch the early morning ferry to Zanzibar

Located 30 minutes from Dar Es Salaam Intl Airport in midst of city.Reaching to reception is bit weird as you have to go to 11th for reception.You have to take another lift to reach the restaurant and to your room at other floor.Anyways, rooms are good, no iron box or ironing board available in rooms which I think is must as many people are business travellers.Food is good and deserves 5 star. Clean rooms and lobby including helpful staff deserves another five star.Serves Indian food, local food...good options.I assume parking is a problem as our can driver had to park on the road side to let us enter the hotel as well as for pick-up.Swimming pool is there. Good Ambience. Overall a good hotel and nice experience.

Good for a short trip. I wouldnt stay longer than a night or two. If you need to stay right in the city center for work commitments/ meetings then its perfect. Its sufficiently comfortable but not great.The standard room I was in had a window that is sealed shut and no balcony. So forget fresh air. Its air-conditioning only.Its an apartment hotel so at least you can bring in your own groceries and cook if you prefer it. I had breakfast there and it wasnt great. Loads of carbs. Not enough variety on anything else. My overeasy eggs ended up well done. *Sigh*Like I said, a night or two wouldnt kill ya but I wouldnt recommend more than that.

One of the best hotels in town, Great view of the harbor and the ocean from the hotel balcony. Good security, Nice bar and restaurant, good customer care. The place is ideal for business people and people who like explore the city of Dar-es-Salaam.

I stayed here for 6 nights. I think they have two types of settings for each class of room. What I mean is that you can have a suite which is either chic/modern or set up in more traditional way. Upon my checking they gave me traditional suite but I did not like it and the staff moved me 14 the floor and the I really enjoyed the room.I have stayed in Dar es salaam at various hotels but i think the breakfast at harbour view suites is one of the best if not the best. Breakfast is simple, does not have as many options as some other hotels might have but the taste is exquisite, and restaurant staff makes the whole experience alot better.Reception staff is not very cheerful, I would say, may even be unprofessional at times.Overall my experience at harbour view was pleasent and worth the price.

Good hotel to stay in Samora Avenue area of Dar.... The new rooms are especially good and offer a great view of the harbour. The ferry wharf for Zanzibar is at walking distance and so is the market and downtown area. If you are a tourist, te taxi stand is right across the road and the Grand Restaurant which is a multi cuisine diner is located on the ground floor. So, location is simply perfect.

Average business hotelOften got served something else than ordered at dinner time. 1st time was acceptable but 3 days in a raw helped me to realize why the restaurant was empty every night.Bad manners Chinese and Indian customers make you feel miserable in the morning during breakfast as they are all on their phone shouting.Rooms are ok but the view over the Indian ocean is obstructed by a new high rise tower right in front of the hotel.

Stayed there in July 19. Good business hotel well located inside the city, is the only reason for the 3 stars. The restaurant is uninviting. Had breakfast and did not want to try anything else.

Beautiful hotel with nice service and high standard rooms. Spacious and having the view of the town. The lifts and corridors are quite confusing to be honest. The place feels like a maze. The engineering was just wrong 😒.

Close to the ferry terminal. Confusing entrance and in and out of the building. Casino next door, doesnt seem like a vibrant please. Surprisingly Kind of quite next to casino. Restaurant is not bad. Service overall is average.

Disappointed by my stay at Harbour View. The rooms are dated and smell. Staff seem to be disgruntled and rude. But the food was good, and views of the harbour from the restaurant are great.

They are so unprofessional. We had a conference booking there and they simply tried to swindle our organisers out of money. They double booked attendees, over priced rooms and in some instances prematurely checked out guests. It was a disaster. Avoid this establishment at all costs.... literally.

One of the better hotels in Dar. Nice pool, but get in before the sun goes behind the buildings. Food was okay. Nice big suites and shops downstairs make it a perfect stay.

Decent hotel right by the ferry so great if you are getting an early crossing. Pool is great for a quick refresh food is good but a bit pricey

This is not a FIVE star hotel, but a solid 4. Great staff takes care of you. Decent bar, and a good location. Clean and well appointed.

I always use this Hotel when I visit Dar es Salaam. But Wi-Fi condition is weak.

The views to the harbour are obscured by new buildings and in the reception area which is on the 11th floor city top buildings are not attractive as views.Hotel has no sitting foyer so one is obliged to sit in ones room.

Reception not helpfull at all. I had to pay the price of a new room to get an extra bed. Ended up sharing bed with my sick brother.Also they tried to push expensive airport rides.

Very large and well appointed rooms with very good service and a hearty breakfast with a beautiful view of the harbour from the dining room and some rooms. Highly recommended.

Its a bit of a strange hotel on the middle of a shopping center/office building downtown. The deck above the swimming pools has STUNNING views of Dar es Salaam as does the restaurant at the top of the building. The food there is so-so though.

A Greta location near the ferry service. Several museums and parks close to visit. An excellent location if plan to travel to Zanzibar later. The ferry is faster than a flight.

We stayed in this hotel for 15 nights. This hotel experience is very nice. Hotel staff is very helpfull. View is fantastic. Location is very convenient and many restaurant are nearby.
