This hotel is amazing & excellent! Very beautiful seascape! Very comfortable environment! Very good service! Very friendly and efficient team of hotel staff. I highly recommend this hotel. There are wonderful folk music and dance parties, and the hotel helps to host romantic seaside wedding!

Oooooh the food is amazing. We were served by ERNEST, such an amazing waiter. He was patient, making us laugh and attentive. He even calmed my fussy toddler. We got our food in under 20 minutes and it was amazing. The potions are huge and TASTY. Definitely going back and of course ,I will ask for ERNEST again.

In Bar and Restaurant, it is very crowded every weekend. So it is hard to order and ask something to the staffs.Can enjoy live music and pretty sunset view in the evening.Pizza menu tastes normal. There are not many tables.

I didn’t stay at the hotel but had a drink at the bar. The stars are for the view. Otherwise, it took ages to be served and I had to chase down the waitress to get my change. Definitely got the impression that she was hoping I would leave without waiting for change. Not a good vibe.

Wonderful hotel situated in a very tranquil and seclusive area of the city of Dar es salaam.A nice view of the sea along the peninsular giving you a splendid view of other side the city along the ocean! Nice food too!

Never ever again!The worst restaurant in Dar！The worst attitudeThere was a fly flew into my drink and i asked waiter change another one,he complained us why take out fly rather than leave it in the drink and he also told us should use hands to cover beverage like boxers protect their heads,how ridiculous！Its a funny restaurant！After ordering food,we waited 90mins then get it.But there were only 6 tables at that time.When we finished eating,waited more than 40mins get our bills,which included other tables’food.We asked waiter to call the manager,still no response.Arrived there at 6pm,left there almost 10pm,we waited for 2 hours！Food tasted terrible.Ordered medium steak with mashed potato,however.provided us well-done steak with chips and so salty.Pizza is also awful,The bottom of pizza was too hard to chew and bacon was not cooked ready.This is a extremely terrible experience.Never ever again

This place seems great,but its ,but has a pathetic and arrogant manager who is Kenyan his name is XAVIER,He treated us like poor strangers ,whereas we had come all way from Kenya.The place may be dead in the next few years if the poor management continues.His staff also had negative comments about him. never seen that before since i started traveling.

I first gave lower star rating while waiting the food. Wait was long. Very long but the steak was worth of all the wait. One of the best or even the best steak what I have gotten in Africa.

Its beautiful, quiet and you are able to stay here for a work trip and feel like you are on holiday. Its the perfect balance. Great food. extensive breakfast options. the rooms are clean,I just wish they offered shower caps in the room.Humphrey at the reception was absolutely helpful. despite the few mishaps , the hotel ensured my stay was seamless and enjoyable.

Loved the drinks in the evening as am watching the sunset in the ocean, it’s an amazing up beat place very child friendly, the food is amazing.. the rooms are quite nice and staff is on point.Loved the variety of food on the breakfast buffet, always looked forward to the mornings.I had some extra luggage they helped me store it nice and safe. Quite liked the refreshed food tastes as well as more comfortable portion sizes. Earlier the beach side restaurant used to be pretty much only for finger foods : atleast the portion sizes were indicative of such positioning.Enjoyed the lunch today with a fair mix of Continental, Asian and Indian dishes : all of which were prepared adequately and was palatable by adults as well as kids alike.

Decent hotel in Masaki, Msasani Peninsula Dar es alarm.The room came with a large working desk facing the ocean. It was a standard room and believe all Deluxe rooms have the same.

Great location, style and ambience. However, maintenance clearly lacks. Great food and warm and friendly staff. Small steps should be taken to be a great hotel. For example see roof top picture below suite 2105 .... Tv remote (did not work) and programming one sided with very poor sound. Shower doors hardly open and scratch the floor Tiles of poor quality, damaged and should be replaced completely. The outdoor seaside restaurant sets you on holiday mode, shady, slight back ground music sets the stage for an exclusive dining experience. Overall, with small improvement made - a hotel to book and enjoy.

We chose junior sweet which have a beautiful view of the ocean and garden as well,I saw that some of the normal rooms almost had no view, people there were not so friendly,the food is ok but limited variety,very good location and the good thing is that they have Uber in Dar es salaam unlike Zanzibar,I asked to change money so the hotel offered me the hotel car with driver for free.

Terrible customer service. The check in process is total shambles. False advertising on aggregators such as booking.com. You can only get full sea views if you book a suite. Yet they advertise most rooms with sea views.

First and foremost, please forgive my review but I just need to write this review.Currently the restaurant that used to operate back then has closed and shifted to a new location and having a new name “Moyo Restaurant”.As previously the restaurant that used to operate there was the BEST, SUPERB and EVERYTHING that one could imagine and experience.But now the place has changed a lot, such that I can’t recommend anyone with a good taste to go there. As right now, there are two restaurants operating there. So basically the place has lost its uniqueness and service.I will upload photos of the previous environment and scenery of the past restaurant that used to operate there.

What a wow place, i got chance to visit this place at evening times during sun set and also i got a nice view of the ocean, seeing the view of town from a far was really a nice experience .Again their food is of best quality , and i would recommend (lamp soup with rice). Improve your breakfast contents (learn from cuttering services), improve your lunch contents, also your rooms are so ordinary while your prices are extraordinary compared to five star Tanzania Lodges. Other issues, during meals why no water for handwash? No drinking water? Your services are very ordinary provided at minimum levels while prices are at maximum levels. Without improvement your customers will always be the same and when the get used you cant survive in the market, just why your market from blacks and chineese people who are sensitive in bills is very low. Please change.

For the price, definitely not worth it. Our ceiling in the washroom leaked the entire time we were there, even when not raining. And the air conditioning (while very cold when set to 16c) smelled like mildew.Breakfast was good if you ordered fresh eggs to be cooked for you, but also quite expensive if not included with your room. I avoided the bacon as it was pretty inconsistently cooked, and enjoyed croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice.The pool area was nice and had pool towels, but the nicest part of the hotel was the bar area for sure.

Veeeeery slow waiter/chef it took 2 hours to eat yet the restaurant wasnt even full.... imagine a waiter taking your order in the he gets interrupted by another waitress (that would not care that he is talking to customers infront) and they both leave you there hanging... daaaamsuprisingly there are so many waiters doing nothing just infront at the counter talking.. Their restaurant is called Ngalawa

Its one of the best hotels ever in dar es salaam. I didnt sleep but I went like thrice. First I booked a lunch reservation, their lunch was superb. Second time, I went to watch a sunset. Its a best place to look for a sunset view. Third ,went for a lunch with a friend. Has a very good security system, enough parking, not a noisy area.

The place is so okay, and so shocked that its service are under standard compare to the place it self. As a person who likes to visit different places and try new dishes, I decided its time for The beach club. I have been visiting other places like karambezi cafe and grill house, they have best food and great services. But the first time am trying the beach club, i get so disappointed. The staffs are not friendly and so not welcoming. I almost left the place. Many of the dishes on the menu werent available. The food isnt nicee, they need new chefs. No salt in food... just dissatisfied, am sorry. You guys need to improve your services and standards. The place is too good for such poor services and bad food 😒🙌😏

Nice view, food not too bad.My only concern was in the morning we had do not disturb sign After we put please make up my room sign while going for breakfast and until the next day , no one came to clean our room. That was something I personally didnt appreciate if not , nice place.

The hotel grounds were nice, and service was good.But the rooms could have better: air conditioning was perfectly cold, but bathroom was mediore, shampoo bottle couldnt dispense, only 1 towel provided for a twin room.Ceiling also had a drip.

Nice place with friendly personel and good food. The air conditioning is quite noisy. The bathroom needs repairing - there was some glass door in the middle of nothing. The swimming pool was in repairing. The beach is really nice, but forget about going into the ocean - the water is too dirty. Really nice solution with a lot of open air spaces including the hotel floors.

So far so good. The beach is the cleanest beach I have ever visited here in Tanzania. The customer service is five star for sure food is prepared well and good and served in a very short time. The music also is so relaxing for someone to pass by the weekend and welcome a new week. I almost forgot there is free Wifi and their bathrooms have an air condition which I found very extra and amazing. The pool also is so cool that I never wanted to get out of it. I give it five star and I will be visiting very often when am in dar es salaam.

The view is just magnificent, especially in the evening, you can see Dar and the city lights even better. Its actually a very romantic place.The food was delicious, but they could improve on theyre cocktails and mocktails. But being there was a fun experience

The Beach Club restaurant and bar is my favorite in Dar. Gorgeous location by the beach. Perfect view for sunsets. And best of all, the friendliest staff in the city. Lovely spot for working, chilling, having a nice drink with friends. Food is great! Not cheap of course, bit worth the money compared to other places in the same price range

We landed last night around 10 PM and didn’t make it to the hotel until after 11 PM. We came from America after a little over 20 hours of traveling, 1. We slept in late so the cleaning crew called us to check if we need anything. I really appreciated that as we were too exhausted the first time they came around. 2. We woke up and left the room around 1PM still in a travel induced coma but absolutely starving. That is when we ran into Cathy. A tiny angel with a halo over her head. (Again we are from America but travel a lot, we are well aware of what is going on and how many countries look down upon us at this time.) but not Cathy. She saw us a mile away and knew everything we needed. She stopped us in the hall way and told us to sit down and that she would take care of us. And that is exactly what she did. The pool is under construction and I was pretty upset about that, until I met Cathy. I am absolutely so happy we choose this place as everyone here seems to care and is so beyond helpful. The location is beautiful, the hotel is clean, and lastly, the service is above and beyond!!

This is a good hotel. Rooms are cleans and I like the style of my room which enables me to see the sea from my bed when curtains are open. The staff is nice and welcoming. 1 star deducted for the breakfast buffet which I feel could be better.

A nice breeze from the Indian Ocean. The place has relaxing 😎 environment good for individuals and groups. A reasonably well stocked bar and the meals are nicely prepared with a variety of meats and sea food. The staff are welcoming and helpful. It a good place to visit when in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania 🇹🇿. Amazing service, great view. Some minor details were missing in my room- struggled with warm water for instance, hence not 5 star rating. Rooms are well equipped for business trips- ironing board etc. Lots of water. Hotel is in close proximity of lots of major businesses.

Was my first time there with my friends but even to show us the restaurant was problem.They look at us like sh...t. If they dont want people in the hotel then why you open and advertise !?! Little bit expensive but really nice and excellent service from staff

Stayed at the hotel which is in a wonderful, serene location of the City and has some of the best staff who were always at hand to help in any way possible. From the driver on Airport Transfer, the Reception Desk staff and Housekeepers to the Restaurant/Lounge staff, we met friendly hosts!The high speed Internet kept me linked with the office back home too.

Hotel have stunning views and the whole setup is meticulous but the reception staff is unprofessional and unethical in my opinion. I stayed for 5 nights and the day I checked-in, the were few customers waiting at reception, there were not enough seats for waiting customers and it took 25 minutes to complete the process. To make matters worse, receptionist told me they are upgrading me to a suit as a courtesy while I had already booked and paid upfront for a suit room. It was this dishonest behaviour that really annoyed me.Day I checked out they asked me if I had consumed any thing from the mini bar and my answer was no. Lady asked me to wait few minutes which I accepted. 10 minutes later I go back to the reception and ask if every thing is in order and she ask me again whether I had consumed any item from the room, I said I already told you I have not and then she said they have sent some one to the room to confirm and I should wait. She should have never asked me the question if they were going to confirm themselves. Few seconds later room service confirmed nothing was consumed and they told me I could go. They make you feel like you are a list of a thief who steals cold drinks and crisps. Absolutely pathetic.

Great hotel, ambience and great staff at the reception area. The staff at the restaurant need to be more proactive. I was particularly impressed by the gym and the restaurant manager, Eduardo (I think) was extremely friendly and helpful during breakfast!

Worst place Ive been to! Just taking advantage of the big name and giving nothing big in return.. I went at night to have some dessert but and I wanted what the menu offered and they said it wasnt there.. there was only 2 scoop ice cream and it cost 10000, IT WAS LITERALLY AZAM ICE CREAM! ABSOLUTE RIP OFF

I’m not sure how some people have managed to give this hotel 5 stars, crazy! This is a solid 3 stars in reality.I have stayed here on several occasions and most times it has been just okay/ average.Positives; Good location, good food, nice views, nice pool/ bar area.Negatives (these seem to be the norm);The bathrooms are a bit dated, shower was nearly falling off the wall and i only had one towel (room was booked for two people.) I also found a hand towel thrown in the sink.The bathroom window overlooks the hall way (stupid design) so at night you get a lot of light coming into the room.Upon calling the front desk for extra towels, of course the phone was not working so I had to go down to reception!Tv was not working either.The pillows are completely uncomfortable, I woke up the following morning with a sore neck and shoulder, felt like I slept on bricks.Also the gap between the main door and floor is too big, so you get bugs and a lot of noise coming through.Upon check out; I was asked to pay the bill when I had already paid the day before. This hotel is not worth $150 a night, save your money and stay at Sea Cliff perhaps.

Oooh My God..! Are you a sunset lover.. Well if you are you really dont wanna miss going to this place, It is lovely.. This place is just Beautiful, the views are perfect and the sunset is breathtaking 😍 also they have good services. I really loved the place and enjoyed my time there.. Take someone with you to share the experience or just go alone if you want clear your head.. And you will leave smiling..

Id give it a 3.5 star rating. The rooms safe never worked, seems the batteries were dead and the follow-up to the service call was poor. Finally never got it fixed at all. The TV couldnt synch with the cable/satellite box, I didnt bother with that after the room-safe experience. The ironing board and box are conjoined in a very interesting way. The ironing board was broken, it couldnt stand and since I couldnt use the iron separately from the board, I just had to soldier on creased clothes and all. The hotels menu is good but the chef in the kitchen makes the meals fall short of the mark. Medium to well steaks should be just that, not have burnt portions and rare portions all on the same steak. AND chicken should never have any traces of being rare at all- thats a lawsuit waiting to happen. Service recovery was great for the blunder on the steak though. Great beds too, I might add. All-in-all great potential.

Rooms are very spacious and have a good view of the hotel and beach , bar and food service is also really good. Safe parking lot, gym & sauna , pool area , beach area only for guests .. A good place to be for a couple.

One of the best places to watch the beautiful sunset right at the Indian ocean. It was recently expanded and made Cozy and also very good for family outings. BWCBH has a rich fresh sea food menu and other exotic food. Excellent restrooms, well cared for. The parking unfortunately isnt enough during high visitor turn up, you will struggle to get good parking.

Warm reception, clean rooms. Atmosphere is great. Nothing beats having breakfast or a drink looking into the ocean.Herman, friendly, Proffessional and very passionate about the hotel.Stayed 3 nights and it was worth it, will certainly return with my family and spend longer.

Great place for holidays. Located along the beach in dar es salaam, coral beach provides a wonderful view of the ocean. It has a great unepwnsive menu for all. The rooms are in great condition with a design that allows one to relax to the cool oceanic breeze.

Awesome view from the suites.. great staff, very friendly F&B Manager.. prawns not too fresh though 😓 ...but definitely come on over, order something else and enjoy Dar! ..ill be back!
