Avoid this hospital at all costs for a Covid test; we paid for a PCR-RT covid test $50 and we needed it within 24 hours and the guys gave us a number on whatsapp to let them know we needed it fast. We received a response from this number which we assume was the lab. We never ever received our results from the test. Even when we sent another text asking for it. Im not sure about other hospitals as none of the others could do a PCR-RT test. Very poor situation, avoid this hospital.

It’s one of the most famous hospitals owned by the government here in Tanzania. it’s called a referral meaning if other hospitals fail to heal you this is the place to be referred to. But interestingly it’s quite the opposite of that, i think it’s because of the volume of patients is too high for the hospital to handle. If you need a really good care just go to a private hospital like Aga khan and alike but here there is that struggle to get health services, if you are not yet get used to that just follow my opinion and go to a private one.

Hi , another rip off by the Tanzanian government you should never come to that hospital to do a covid 19 test whether you want to be rip off 245 000 Tz ( $ 100 ) , when you ask the they tell you 25 000 Tz ( $ 10 ) but the reality if you want your result you have to pay another 230 000 . I complained then they didn t want to give my result they gave me at the last moment on a exchange of paying extra money , BE VERY CAREFUL ..... They are other cheaper hospitals in Dar .es Salaam around $ 50 a test .

Medics in the health facility also treat a lot of general medical cases prevalent in Tanzania, whilst benefiting from certain modern resources such as radiology.

Very lazy staff, network problem is always the main problem, poor directions but i believe there is a chance to improve.

Avoid this hospital at all costs. Waste of time and money. No organisation, no follow up, no idea what theyre doing.
