My 5 stars. Rooms are expensive and they have been fully booked...But the restaurant with inside and outside sitting is probable the best, even best priced in town. I came here almost every evening. Sometimes for breakfast.Very well kept! Compliments to the management! Nice kitchen! Most attentif services ! Very satisfied. Exept that their WiFi exist but is NEVER connected!!

It is beautiful, very clean, delicious food, exemplary service and most of all the manager is extremely dedicated and really cares for the guests. I would recommend this hotel any day!!!

Nice in recreational activities

Stayed there as a stopover, so our expectations werent so high. Rooms where fairly clean, but already a bit done.Positive things:- Staff very nice an friendly- free WiFi- Good Breakfast / Fair prices for drinksNegative things:- WiFi Connection Code werent told, you had to give your phone to the staff, they entert it- Very loud business around, for example very loud Party music all night long- Shows and Toilet in one space, so we had wet Toiletpaper from the beginning- power Connection poor- they use a generator for power surges, which was in our case 2-4m away from our room, when it was running we couldnt talk to eachother (at night time, so we couldnt real sleep, lucky they turned it off after 45 Minutes, but then we were back to the party music)Wouldnt recommend it, but I cant tell if there are really Alternatives around.

It is one of the best hotels in Bukoba. The best part of hotel is hospitality. The Manager, Mr Franks , is a thorough professional and motivates his team to give best. We enjoyed the stay, food and service of this hotel. Heart felt thanks to Mr Franks and his Team. 🙏🙏

The best in Bukoba. Good accommodation. Very friendly staff. Great fish too. On the not so good side, the hotel is located in a rather loud neighbourhood.

A good veggie burger is hard to find so head here if your in town to try their homemade and tasty version.Nice open outside bar / restaurant area and pretty efficient staff.

I stayed at Victorious Perch for 2 weeks and tried 4 different rooms.The rooms are moderately clean, the tv works sometimes if the cords arent frayed, hot water works occasionally, wifi wasnt strong enough for me to send an email so I ended up buying a router, water pressure is turned off during the day and sometimes takes awhile to come back on, A/C has a mind of its own and only works when it wants to, there are 1-2 gaps below the sliding balcony doors which allows your room to fill with flies and mosquitos in the evening. The restaurant has decent food that is prepared in a timely manner and most of the staff that work in the restaurant are lovely.Despite the mediocracy of this hotel, I wouldve still recommended it to others working or traveling in Bukoba. That was until I had a very challenging and frustrating experience with the hotel Manager during my last few days in Bukoba, which has changed my view of the business entirely.I could write an essay on my sincere disappoint and disgust in the way the Manager treated myself and my colleague during an unfortunate situation which got out of hand after one of his staff members (who doesnt speak any english but is assigned to work behind the front desk) misunderstood a question we had asked which resulted in my colleagues credit card accidentally being charged $850 US. We were told that the hotel couldnt complete international refunds so the Manager offered to refund the amount in cash. Long story short, he wanted to give us $726 USD back in cash instead of the full $850 USD that was charged to the credit card (not including the two $19 USD bank charges associated with the miss charges to her credit card). After hours of debating and arguing, we ended up getting the right amount of money back, but not after the Manager tried every angle to convince us that we were stupid foreigners that dont know anything. He was extremely disrespectful, difficult to communicate with and straight up lied to us multiple times.There are so many details to this experience that I would love to include in this review which demonstrate the true character of the Manager at Victorious Perch, but I will just say that I would never recommend anyone else willingly puts them-self in a position where they could end up being treated so poorly by a service staff member. There are other options for places to stay in Bukoba (like Kolping) where you can avoid the potential of getting caught in a similar situation.
