Paying for name and a nice view, but that is all. Small rooms are priced too high. The shower head was bad, internet and TV did not work. Found a much better room, after two nights, at another hotel in town, for almost half the price. Recommend avoiding this hotel.

I give it 4 stars for it hospitable staff, beautiful lake view, spacious moderately well furnished rooms...however the bathroom drainage system is poor, water floods, and hot water doesnt last long before it turns cold again

I honestly dont know how people can rate this hotel more than 2 stars. I know Bukoba is very small and not focused on the tourist industry but if you are the only decent hotel in Bukoba, why not go the extra mile and make it worth staying at. The staff are friendly in a manner but No sense of time management at all. Expect to wait very long for your food and when it eventually arrive its not great. I just wish the manager of this hotel will actually do something to improve the BASICS… it has potential but seems the people in charge have lost all faith in the Kolping. Give it a hard pass.

They took a slice of my pizza before giving it to me maybe they thought I would not notice,card machine doesn’t work, they don’t take USD dated 2013 ( they say the banks don’t except, but I got it in Tanzania at the bank) , expect to wait more than an hour for any food, no ice, no pressure in showers, coffee is terrible, wifi is non-existent, beer is warm.

If you are ever in bukoba this is a wonderful friendly place. The rooms are clean and tidy though basic and the bed is comfortable. Good quality mosquito nets as well. There is a small bar and restaurant on-site and had wonderful meals for 4 days

From five stars to one: Even after several discussions they claimed the wrong beer-price, additionaly lying on me (with the typical bright smile) that these prices had always been there, although we could prove the opposite. Well, never joke about beer in front of a German. Never.

People told me it is the best hotel in Bukoba and it really offers a very European standart with even a hot shower. The hotel offers a wide menu with dishes like burgers and pizzas (definitely recommend) but it takes some while (1h) until it is served so make sure you order before you get hungry. The breakfast is very continental but you have to make sure you are on time. Even if you dont stay there for accommodation the restaurant is a must go.

Mama 70th Birthday was there.if you wish to do a party then make sure you have all the decore. Food was okay but a bit expensive.

They have many choices when it comes to meals.

Old gammeliges hotel in Bukoba outside the tourist route. You can tell by the lame service. Room old and simple, at least Sitzklo. Nothing to book unless you have to go to the area. Drinks cheap, food okay, rooms well.

Kolping hotel is a great place to relax for all the guests as it is a beautiful setting

The truth is a very good place in the relative stability compared to other parts of Bukoba
