We were so lucky to find Greg. His advice about our one week safari was literally perfect. We went to Tarangire, Serengeti Ngorogoro and 2 days with Hadzabi tribe at the end. It was really an amazing choice. Our super friendly guides knew exactly where to go to show us the best of Tanzanian parks. Except from a wild dog we saw literally everything we could see :) Moreover not only animals laying down but also their actions (like for example predators fighting over the pray and much more). Cant forget also about an amazing food that our cook was cooking. Last but not least our great surprise was the experience with Hadzabi tribe. That was unbelievable to see the way they live. Their peace, harmony with nature and of course how great hunters they are :DThis is definitely the experience we will never forget!
We had an amazing time! Greg adventures is definitely the best safari option in Tanzania! Best prices! Best experience! Real value for money! Do not hesitate tobook you own adventures there, it’s worth every penny. I can’t even put into word how much fun we had! Greg is really professional in what he does and has the best staff! Super friendly, kind, knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommended!
We did a 3 days / 2 nights safari in Serengeti as a family and friends group with 3 adults and two kids (3 years and 4 month). It was truly amazing. We agreed to do the trip just one day before we started and the whole organization was just perfect. We slept in tents in the middle of the bush and it was just an amazing experience to be in the wild. The food was delicious. Our guide Deo made our trip so special and unforgettable and it was just perfect to do it with him. He answered to all our questions professionally and he was so charming. To do the trip with the kids was really easy and also not a problem for Greg Adventures. We really recommend to do the safari with Greg Adventures. Fair pricing and you get a really unforgettable and amazing experience!Asante sana!
I booked 2 trips with Greg Adventures. They were professional in their dealings before and during the trip. The communication was prompt and precise. Different payment methods were offered (cash or bank transfer) and the prices were reasonable. The first one was a 3 day safari camping tour in Serengeti. It’s been my first safari ever and one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! We made the big 5! The land cruiser for the safari was very comfortable and in a good condition. The driver Deo was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining and well connected with the other drivers. He could spot the animals easily with his naked eye. Also he was very patient and would stop and ensure that we could take as many pictures as we wanted to. Mr. Paul was our chef. Super nice guy as well and he prepared delicious meals. Both of them were very punctual and had good English speaking skills. The second trip I’ve booked was a hiking trip to Materuni Waterfalls (Moshi). Beautiful nature and you can even go for a little swim. We finished the tour with the coffee experience. We made our own coffee and they explained everything. It was the freshest coffee I’ve ever had!I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Tanzania to get their trips organized by them.
We had a amazing time during the4 day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide Deo and chef baba tau where the best.We have seen the big five and many more. Deo was the best he told so many things about wildlife.Sleeping in a tent in the middle of Serengeti was absolutely a great adventure!! Surrounded by hyena and lions during the night. We had a really good time during the safari and the food was delicious! So I definitely recommend you to book your safari with Greg adventures. And he offered the safari for a good price...
We went for a 5 day safari and 2 day Hadzabe tribe experience. I cannot recommend Greg Adventures enough. Greg himself went through the whole planning process with us and made our whole trip so personal. We had an amazing safari and saw the big 5! We were so impressed with our guide, he was so knowledgeable and knew where to look for the animals. Our chef was very talented, we had delicious meals every night (it’s worth going for the food alone!!). Our Hadzabe tribe experience was incredible, we asked Greg for something authentic and sure enough we got it! All in all if you want to do your safari right I would highly recommend coming here.
Safari nature and animals- 5 starts /but this doesnt depend on the tour operator as you know/Organisation&service from Greg- 3 starts, please, read our experience below. We joined Gregs tour on 8.03.201. Greg was recommended by the host from the hotel where we were staying and he responded to our request very quickly. We liked that. Few messages and we had a safari booked for the next morning. Greg, personally arrived at our hotel to collect money for the tour, we didnt speak that much but he asked us what are our food requirements since the safari tour included lunch. I told to him that I need a vegetarian option and, of course, it was not taken care of. Please dont ask clients what are their dietary requirements if you are not serious to fulfil them. This time I was able to consume the food you provided, but if the person is strictly not eating meat- you would have ruined this persons chance to have lunch.Second, we were shocked about the driver Greg provided to collect people who were joining this tour. Later we learned from the tour guide, that Greg needed to outsource this service because his drivers were fully booked (not sure if this is true), but if you do outsourcing of any kind- make sure that this is meeting your service quality, otherwise, you are just ruining your reputation and yes experience for the people who pay not a little money to join the tour. The man who arrived to collect us from the hotel had a car in a horrible shape, he seemed like he didnt know what he was doing- we arrived at another hotel (what seemed as to collect other people) and were waiting some 40 minutes and nobody came- which made us think that driver was lost and arrived at the wrong destination, he seemed like he didnt know what he is doing, running around like a chicken without a head. Third, it is pandemic and if you provide SERVICE, you must wear a mask, especially if you send so ill driver the way we had. He was coughing all 2-3 hours we were on the road and he was NOT wearing a mask until one of the passengers told him to do so- and even then he didnt look satisfied with this request. It was a very, very unpleasant experience being in a car with such a driver. Please dont send sick people to provide ANY kind of service, especially not during PANDEMIC!Safari itself was very, very nice, but again, when you pay 500 USD dollars, you expect some sort of service in a level, because nature doesnt belong to you and you cant charge this money for that. But this service was below average. Hopefully, this will help you to improve your decisions regarding organisation&people you choose to provide service on behalf of you.
We did a 2 day safari through Greg’s Adventures with Suleiman and it was fantastic! The first day we visited Tarangire National Park and saw so many elephants and the tree climbing lions. On the second day we visited Ngorongoro Crater which was so beautiful! Our guide Suleiman was super knowledgeable and respectful towards the animal and made sure to answer any of the questions we had about the safari/accommodation. Through Greg’s Adventures we got all of our transport arranged and even got to stay at their accommodation in Arusha called Villa Poa free of cost before the tour started. This was an unexpected added bonus because it was so lovely and clean and the staff were amazing! Francis was super friendly and drove us around. He took us out for food and to play pool! Overall, this was our favourite experience and place to stay in Tanzania!
Great company to deal with! We booked a bespoke tour with Greg Adventures (wasnt any more expensive than booking a package) that included climbing Kilimanjaro, visiting Lake Natron, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Greg and his team are extremely professional and friendly (with excellent English) and I cant recommend them enough
Amazing trip overall. We did 4 days safari and 4 day for mount meru for a good price. Our safari guide Deo was very friendly and thoughtful. He was very good at explaining all the stuff about the animals and general nature life. Our mountain guide Abdi, was also a very good man. He was on point with a lot of stuff, and always seemed in control on the mountain. We would’nt have made it to the top without him💪🏽Overall great experience with the company :)

Best coffee in Moshi. Quite western, prices quite high.
