I have done a safari once before in Tanzania, however this time we decided to do a full circuit with Vacanza Safari tours with my family. From 14th to 21th December 2020 my husband and I enjoyed a private safari in Tanzania. Our trip was organized by our friend, Edson Peterson, a long time expedition safari guide. Our 7-day safari was a glorious adventure. It was all new to us on our first trip to Africa. Our driver guides knowledge was more than we could absorb. He articulately told us about the wildlife species and their habits, cultural history of the people we got time to visit them – The Maasai and Hadzabe at their locality, geology and topography of the area especially the Oldvai Gorge, as well as environmental concerns and preservation efforts. This wonderful guide had an uncanny ability to spot wildlife at remarkable distances. He knows his homeland well and where to find the wildlife. He is well known and respected by outfitters, guides, hotel personnel and locals. Our safari was flawless due to GVTS’s experience and expertise of arranging best safaris ever experienced in other African tourism.
