We had an amazing 4 day safari with 7-Wonders in Tanzania. After being picked up from Kilimanjaro we were dropped of at our hotel in Arusha the night before the trip begun. In the days after we had a great trip with our guide Eli and our F&B legend Isaac. Both were helpful during the trip and made sure everything was at ease. From animal spotting and game drives to lovely food and helping setting the tent up, both guys were amazing. After the last day of game driving we were dropped of in our hotel in Arusha again, so perfect service from start to end. Definitely a recommendation for everyone that is either new or experienced with safaris! We highly recommend to request Elifidhili and Isaac as your duo guides! Helpful, safety, friendliness, great spotters, great driver, great chef and great lads!Jasper & Seb
Amazing 6-days Kilimanjaro climb!Big thanks to our guides Myke, Noel and the entire team for organizing and leading our amazing 6-days Kilimanjaro climb! They organized our entire trip - accommodation, food, water supply, porters, gear, and provided great support and guidance on acclimatization. We saw spectacular places and learned from our guides about animals, plants and the mountain. It was truly unforgettable, challenging and most adventurous trip weve ever had!
Hi, We booked a 4 day safari with 7Wonders to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. During these 4 days we had the opportunity to be in the wonderful company of Rueben and Nathan while exploring. Rueben is a fantastic and knowledgeable driver who will keep you entertained sharing information about the land, wildlife and Masai culture. We saw plenty of wildlife, Reuben was able to track down where all the action was happening in the reserves and parks. He is also an excellent singer, our road trips were filled with sharing songs of Africa especially Jambo Bwana. He is a kind hearted human being, makes you feel like family in a short span of time. Nathan on the other hand was our travelling cook and self-volunteer guard. We had delicious breakfasts in the morning, picnic-style lunches and dinners, all cooked fresh. He happily accommodated for my request for vegetarian meals. We had plenty of laughs along the way. We experienced Tanzania through them and fell in love with their culture. If you are booking a safari with 7 wonders, we highly recommend asking for Reuben and Nathan.
We went on a 5 day safari with Seven Wonders Safari early January 2021 with Hoza and Isac.We started with 2 days at Lake Natron, followed by 2 days at Serengeti and on the last day we explored the Ngorongoro Crater.Hoza was an excellent guide, his experience, knowledge and positive attitude made our trip unforgettable. We saw the migration, the Big Five and a beautiful sunrise in the Serengeti. The food (with a vegetarian option) was incredible thanks to Isac. They took great care of us and we highly recommend them!Thank you very much and see you soon for another wonder!
My husband and I booked the mount Meru hike and 5 days safari trip with Seven Wonders- both experiences were amazing! We will focus on this review on the Safari part.We took around six price offers from local companies and Seven Wonders gave us the best and fair offer, price and quality-wise.From the moment we landed at Kilimanjaro airport Evelyn and her team took the best care of us, supported our every need, change, accommodation, question, and request. Our tour guide was Hoza and he was a real expert- Ill start from the end: we saw the great migration crossing of the Mara River! He knew where all the interesting things are, drove fast but safe so we can arrive to all the adventures on time, highly professional and knowledgeable guide, share with us stories and information about the wildlife, culture, and the country. Due to his experience, we had the best decision and chose an alternative route; We initially planned one day in lake Manyara, one in Serengeti, and one in Ngorongoro, and one day in Tarangire. in the first day we were offered an alternative of two days in Serengeti and one in Ngorongoro, and one day in Tarangire, since lake Manyara is currently flooded (we also saw this on our way to the Ngorongoro). I would definitely recommend two days in Serengeti- it is the most beautiful park, very close to Masai Mara and has a lot of wildlife. It was also the only reason why we had enough time to see the great migration crossing. We are very thankful that we were offered this alternative. We chose the camping option and the facilities were OK.The Seronera camp in Serengeti was not the best. There was no hot water and the bathrooms were dirty- it was manageable but something to take into consideration. The Simba campsite of Ngorongoro was nice, hot water and pretty clean. We were a group of 4 people, a guide and a cook- the food was great!
Seven Wonders Safari DeliveredWe just got back from 2 weeks in Kenya and Tanzania (Aug - Sept 2021). Evelyn and 7 Wonders Safari put the whole trip together and it was perfect, just what we wanted. As we planned the trip, months in advance, Evelyn would respond to email that day or the next, and answered every question we asked in detail. I knew we had a good company in 7WondersSafri months before we got to Africa because of how well Evelyn responded to our questions. She helped us with VISAs, border crossings, airport and bus arrivals, and COVID testing. We never had a single issue. We felt safe wherever we went, in Nairobi and anywhere else. She arranged for another company they work with in Nairobi to give us safaris in Kenya to the Maasi Mara, Giraffe Center, Baby Elephant Rescue Center, and Lake Navaisha. We were a family group of 7, and the Toyota 4x4 Landcruiser we used was great and gave everyone a seat. We wanted a budget tour and I guess that’s what we got. I couldn’t tell the difference between our safaris and anyone else’s that was in the park. Our vehicle was as good as any other, our driver was as good or better, we spent the same amount of time in parks, we saw all Big 5, plus lots more, we had nice places to stay, breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day we were on safari, etc. We may have been in a luxury tented camp (solid floor, some solid walls, private bathroom and shower inside our “tent”, etc.) instead of a 5-star Marriott, but our places were great. Some were a little nicer than others, but they were great. We weren’t looking to feel like we were staying in the Beverly Hills Hilton in the middle of a wild game park. In Tanzania we went to the Serengati, Lake Manyara (and saw lions in a tree, and a lion kill a baboon), and Ngrongoro Crater. We got charged by 2 black rhinos in Maasi Mara and it was great (until the next day our driver said he’d never been that scared). We wanted to feel like we were on a safari, in the bush, but safe. And we did, and were. A company rep met us in Nairobi and Evelyn met us in Arusha. I have nothing bad to say about 7 Wonders Safari. They were great. We also hiked half way up Kilimanjaro to the base camp as a 12 mile day hike. We would have loved to climb to the summit, but that’s a 5-day event and you need to be in better shape than some in our group. Thanks again Evelyn and Seven Wonders Safari.
I originally booked a 6-Day-Kilimanjaro Trekking Tour with Seven Wonders Safaris. The booking was very spontaneously but Evelyn was the perfect employee to communicate with. We quickly found a suitable tour and everything was organized perfectly fine. Additionally they also offered a Safari Tour that I participated. They took good care of me, organized everything and answered all my questions. A huge THANK You to the entire team!!!! You guys were great!!!
We had a private Safari for 8 days with 7 Wonders Safari. The trip offers many highlights with the different sights (Lake Natron, Serengeti, Ngongoro&Manyara), lots of wild animals and high variety in different landscapes/ecosystems. We added on additional day to also climb the active volcano of Ol Doinyo Lengai (really great if you like hiking, but 1600m of altitude to hike...so pretty challenging in terms of fitness). The car, tents and other equipment were of very good quality. The contact via Evelyn was always very fast and the agency was very flexible to meet our travel schedule and adapt the itinary based on our wished. We were accompanied the whole trip from our guide Hozza and Kelvin as chef who made this an unforgettable experience. We can fully recommend the agency as well as the route itself.
We booked a three night safari. Communication from the company was excellent with all questions answered. It is definitely a budget safari and I guess you go for the wildlife, however, the vehicle on the first two days was terrible - very dirty, uncomfortable and struggled to get up hills. The guide found the animals but had very little knowledge to share. Lunch was just okay. The guide on the last day (Paul) was much more knowledgeable and enthusiastic with a better vehicle. On the middle day the itinerary said we would visit the crater AND the lake, but the driver only took us to the crater, there was plenty of time to view the lake too as we finished around 2:45pm and the lake is close to the overnight accommodation and would have been lovely to see in the evening. There was no information why this part of the expected itinerary wasnt provided. At the end of the tour we explained to the company that we had had a few problems but they were not bothered. Go for the wildlife, if you need a budget safari this company is okay, but if you can stretch a bit further I would recommend you do.
Seven Wonders is amazing! I really appreciated the fact that they handled all aspects of my safari; from making sure I was picked up at the airport, arranging all if my lodging before, during and after Safari, and making sure I was safely dropped back off at the airport after Safari. As a solo female traveler, this was very important to me and Seven Wonders didn’t disappoint. My safari driver, Peter, was very informative, I learned so much from him. I plan on going back for a private safari in the upcoming years and will not hesitate to use Seven Wonders again.
My family had 2 guides on our safari, George and Hozza. Both guides were excellent, they were extremely knowledgeable and kind. Our guides always took the time to explain everything to us and always made sure we were comfortable. My 84 year old grandmother was on Safari with us and Hozza took special care to make sure she safely got in and out of the vehicle and helped wherever she needed to go, they also made sure she was able to get a good view of everything even though she wasnt able to stand up in the vehicle. Its also great to know that this company is locally owned. Overall amazing experience.
My boyfriend and I did the 5-day, group camping safari. Here is our experience...Pre-booking experience: They responded to all emails in a day and would answer all personal questions with specific information - not just copy & paste answers that they send to all people.Airport pickup/drop off: They picked us up from the Arusha airport and dropped us off at the Kilimanjaro airport - all included in the price! The cars were clean and the drivers were friendly.Hotel before/after the safari: They booked us a room in the Ambassador Hotel for the night before the safari and a night after the safari - all included in the price. The Ambassador Hotel was clean and comfortable enough.Safari Car: The pop-up roof car was the perfect safari experience! You could tell that our car was a bit used (some broken arm rests and one window that was jammed and couldnt open), but after being in it for 5 days and seeing the road conditions in the parks, Im not surprised that it had a few little problems.Staff: Our tour guide+driver (Hozza) and cook (Kelvin) were phenomenal and truly made the safari top-notch! The guide could talk for hours and hours about any and every animal and plant. He was really experienced, professional, funny, and kind. He would explain facts and habits of different animals when we would see them on the safari and then he would go really in-depth on one specific animal every night at dinner. He was also an aggressive driver when he needed to be - making sure other cars didnt block our view for certain popular animals.Food: For a budget camping safari, the food (quality and quantity) far exceeded expectations! We had a cook who traveled with us every day and would make 3 meals. You will NOT go hungry!! Breakfast always included fresh fruit, omelettes, pancakes, toast, juice, and coffee/tea. Lunch was boxed (you would eat it at the national parks) and included a sandwich, chicken, banana, crackers, chocolate, and juice. Dinner was also a huge spread, and varied every night - homemade soup, fresh salad, pasta/rice, meat...Drinks: We had unlimited water bottles in a cooler in the car (cool water!) and juice at every meal. We also were served wine and gin and tonics every evening at dinner. The alcohol was included!Lodges/Campsites: We booked a camping safari, but we ended up staying in a basic lodge for two nights and camping in tents two nights. The basic lodge was a pleasant surprise - hot water private showers, a real bed, and wifi. The tour company provided all of the camping supplies - large tents (each couple/individual got their own tent), sleeping bags, and pillows. We set up our own tents with the help of the guide and cook. We never slept very well while camping because you would hear animals outside of the tents, but totally worth it for the experience! We saw a hyena, warthog, and buffalo at one campsite and an elephant from the other! The campsites have flush toilets and cold water showers.Safari Itself: The itinerary was different every day, but generally we woke up early and would stay in the park for 6-8 hours a day. Driving between parks takes a long time, but the car is comfortable. The guide is always radioing the guides from the other cars to find out the locations of different animals, but you can expect to see EVERYTHING! We saw so many lions (and lion cubs), cheetahs (and cheetah cubs), leopards (and leopard cubs), as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, warthogs, hyenas... PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!Thoughts on a 5 day safari: By the end of the five days, we were definitely safarid out. I would recommend to my friends to only do 4 days (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara/Tarangire) - no need to do both Manyara and Tarangire. The scenery is different in each park, but you get to the point of being tired of sitting in the car for the full day.
Excellent ServicesMe and my wife took a 9 days to visit Serengeti National Park in January.I was a very amazing trip. Everything planned very well, Nice vehicles, food, camp and untouched experience of our tour guide Make our Trip to be one of the next level.
DO NOT book a tour with Seven Wonders in Arusha. In all of my travels, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. This is not just a post about a bad tour company, this is a SAFETY WARNING to all travellers – please do not use this company. My boyfriend and I booked a safari to the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater for 3 days and 2 nights. Our cook was great, but our guide was awful. We shared the safari truck with two lovely French ladies, and we were all told that the guide spoke both French and English – but he didn’t speak either (other than a few basic phrases), which made communication very difficult. He couldn’t tell time, and kept telling us to get up for breakfast at 2:00 am (which we actually did the first morning!). He was very disorganized and always late, which decreased the amount of time we got to spend each day in the national parks. We had to set-up and take down his tent each morning to try and speed up our departure time, as he didn’t know how to. He didn’t spot one single animal our entire trip! And when we spotted them he would drive past more than half of them. And on our second day when I spotted a leopard, and we requested to park for a better view, he kept driving and said that we had to go home for lunch, yet proceeded to stop for antelope!!! We’re not usually picky with driving, but he was honestly very unsafe and came close to hitting walls, trees and animals on the road on multiple occasions. He was always on his phone in the truck, and when he wasn’t talking on it he was taking creepy pictures of the young French girl (trying to disguise them as selfies). He made the experience so bad that it brought the French ladies in our truck to tears - they called Seven Wonders several times to complain and to try and get a replacement guide, but the manager of Seven Wonders yelled at them over the phone and called them “liars” and refused to compensate them in any way.As if this wasn’t bad enough, on our last day we were scheduled to visit the Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide had forgotten to pay our tickets for entry the night before, so we were late entering and late leaving the park. Our guide on exiting the inner gate of the crater told us that we had to pay a $70 USD fee per person for exceeding our permit time. We explained to the ranger that it was our guide’s fault because we arrived late, and the guide lied and said that we had threatened to fight him in the truck (3 small girls and 1 guy vs. 2 grown men!), and that we had made him stay late. When we tried to exit the last gate of the park in a taxi, we were detained because the fee had not been paid. The head park ranger agreed that Seven Wonders should pay the fee, and he arranged over the phone with the manager the he should mobile transfer the money. He never did, and as a result we were kept at the gate until after dark before being allowed to finally leave at 8:30 pm (after waiting for 5 ½ hours). The next day, we were approached at our hotel in Arusha by the manager of Seven Wonders, along with a group of 5 other men. He told us we needed to pay him the $140 USD. We tried to calmly reason with him, but he was simply aggressive and rude, and accused us of lying. They wouldn’t leave, and harassed us until we asked for the police to be called. The police warned us that these men were dangerous, and that they believed that if we didn’t give them what they wanted they were going to hurt us. The police were unable to charge them unless they did first harm us, so we filed a police report and had to be driven to a hotel outside of town where we were safe. Please be warned – these are bad people. Do yourself a favour, there are many other tour companies you can choose from.
Such an amazing Tour Company,Me and my Friends visited Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with 7 Wonders Safaris.Truly Unforgettable.

Where the journey to the wonders starts!!🏌🏿♀️
Our agency in Kenya referred us to them to do Myanara lake, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The visit to the lake we did with them, but the other days they referred us again to others called 3 wonders. The change did not go well because the guide was pesimo. A shame. I think if we had done the whole journey with 7 wonders it would have been much better.
We booked the safari in tanzania through a Kenyan agency: this part is all right, quick, comprehensive answers and a good level of English. Once in arusha everything has changed. We were told that you could pay by credit card but at the time of payment we were asked for a 5% fee (over $ 90 more!). In the end we had to pay cash, losing a lot of time to withdraw (in addition to the commission we paid for taking so much money). The driver of the first 2 days was very smart, what we had in the following days was annoying and unprofessional: he stopped to show us the animals just for the time to take a picture while we, who wanted to watch the animals, all Sometimes we had to ask to stop. The lodgings were not as they had been described, in particular the Serengeti and Ngorongoro campsites are PUBLIC with dirty toilets, without electricity or hot water. In addition it was very cold, especially on the crater, and although I asked for info on clothing and the necessary objects, they did not advise me to bring a torch and very warm clothes. In the store we found sleeping bag and dirty pillows used by other people before us. During the safari I complained to the manager of 7wonders who minimized the problems and, in exchange for better treatment for 2 days, asked for a supplement of $ 500 which we obviously didnt accept. We were 2 and we shared a car with other tourists who were staying in places other than ours, with the result that every morning and every evening we lost 1 hour to accompany everyone. Finally, the visit to the ngorongoro lasted half the expected time because the guides forgot the documents and we lost time recovering them (it takes more than 30 minutes to access the crater). I read that this has also happened to others with this agency, so I suspect that 7wonders will pay a reduced permit (to marginalize more) and then invent forgetting to justify the reduced visit to the park. As for the program, ours was respected, but to some of the people who traveled with our vehicle, the program was changed without agreements or information. The scene was me: how nice we go to the Tarangire another tourist: tarangire? I have to go to the Manyara! And via discussions that have wasted time. Episode happened 2 times in 6 days.Pay something extra but contact another agency!
Last summer I took a 6-night safari with this agency and I strongly advise against it. I state that the parks were beautiful, the cook very good and the professional drivers. In the beginning I was not told clearly how to make the payment and during the Safari they treated me as if I didnt want to pay and threatened not to let me continue because they couldnt find a way to complete the payment. During the safari I lost hours to try to pay online on a site recommended by the agency, but the data connection did not work well and therefore it was not possible to make the payment. Finally, one morning, I had to wake up at dawn and lose more than an hour to make more withdrawals at an ATM in a small village and deliver the money to the driver. Despite having paid more than 1000 € I stayed 4 nights in very basic campsites, without electricity, without hot water and with very dirty and badly kept toilets. Communication and attention to the customer were very bad. The agency woman I used to interface with has always been very arrogant and rude. Since the other participants in the safari had different accommodations, we lost many hours every day to go from one accommodation to another. In some cases the safari program has been modified without communicating anything to us. On the last day we would have had to do a full day safari inside the Ngorongoro crater and instead lasted only about 2 hours.
Highly recommended!!!We were with guide Godfrey and chef Bryson, both great people.Godfrey speaks perfectly Spanish and apart from a good guide, we had a great time with him.Bryson excellent cook, we loved his food. And most importantly, we were able to see the big 5 in Africa and learn a lot about them.Thank you so much guys!!!
I think it was pretty goodI went with four men and women, but I was surprised at the good eyesight of the guide. The guide knew the points, so I could see most of the animals I could see, and the cook was a delicious dish, and he was a friendly and nice person.
Awesome outfit and organizers. Good and reliable drivers and my own chefs included :) The driver was Hozza
