We spent a week in this amazing hotel and would definitely come back. Kibo offers amazing service, food and stay. Probably the best hotel food I have ever had. They also do turn down service and give cookies which is a plus. On Christmas eve eve they prepared Christmas movie viewing and popcorn which was a nice touch. The guest choir performances on Christmas eve and Christmas day was also great. My only qualm is on the shower area size which is much too squeezed. Also, the lift is quite old and definitely needs a revamp. A quick renovation would go a long way for this gem. Despite this, many thanks to all staff who made our stay worthwhile.

Stilll a very good well managed place even 3 years later I enjoyed everyday i was at Kibo. The Breakfast is out of this world . They make sure you get th best breakfast every morning.

I came here for breakfast with a friend. I will start with what could be improved and then talk about what I liked. I must say I was not to pleased with the service at the restaurant .Customer service needs improvement. The waitress acted like didn’t expect to have non-resident customers for breakfast as I asked for the breakfast menu. After we ordered the omelette which was very expensive compared to similar hotels in the city, what was brought to the table was just an plain omelette without the chips and salad that was meant to come with it as per the menu.I told the waitress and she went to fix it. No apology or explanation offered. It was a very uncomfortable experience especially because I am a number one supporter and fan of the Kibo Palace in Moshi and held similar experience here. Perhaps this Arusha one can learn from them. When it came to pay I said I’d like to pay in card and was told to go to reception to do it. At reception I was received well and the transaction went smoothly.What I did like about this hotel. The hotel is beautiful inside and the male staff are very professional. The have facilities like sauna that I look forward to trying. I will give this place another chance hence my generous stars.

We stayed at the Kibo for four days waiting on valid Covid rest results as the Tanzanian Ministry of Health computer crashed. The staff was excellent. With the covid situation, the rooms and hotel were very clean. One day as I passed the cleaning crew in a room--I saw them sanitizing the dresser drawers. The restaurant was excellent--we met the head chefs and they were so responsive to our questions. The food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was great. The best pizza that we have had in East Africa (we have been coming since 1994 averaging 3 times a year). Julius, the driver for the hotel, was the best. We had not planned to be in Arusha and he helped so much in navigating the city and watching out for my wife and I. The front desk helped us with all the forms needed. The pool area was beautiful! Quiet. Cant say enough about an excellent stay.

Very quiet and smooth place

I went to this place because of fitness center-gym.. And the gym is very nice.. It even has a sauna, steam bath and massage place which makes it amazing.. The trainer is very good also and can assist you anytime.. Oooho dont forget swimming pool which makes it much cooler..

Very nice hotel and good location just walking distance from Clock Tower, very welcoming staff from the minute you enter the hotel, quick check in at the reception by friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very big and clean, bed was very comfy and clean. Breakfast area was very clean and relaxing, specially by the pool and inside. Unbelievable variety of food was provided and the service from all the staff was brilliant with smile.I would definitely use this hotel again in future I highly recommend it.Big thank you to all the staff for excellent service.

We love and enjoyed every bit of our stay. The weather, the view from the hotel, the hospitality, the staff reception, the comfort and pampering... (they didnt only clean up our room, they also garnished our table with fruits and chocolates) the little details go a long way. The hotel is beautiful but above all the customer care and cleanliness is amazing. it feels good travelling to a foreign country and being appreciated, cared for with genuine smiles from the guard at the gate and the butlers to the cleaners in the rooms, manager who receives you at the restaurant entrance and her waiters, and a very helpful reception staff.amazingwould def return

Great experience. The good customer service and very welcoming staff compliment the ambiance the hotel brings. It was great value for money. The hotel is easily accessible coming down the main highway and close to the centre of town. Wed highly recommend it and wed definitely stay there again.

Elegantly exquisite are two essential words that I will use to describe the Kibo Palace and my experiences. Upon entering I marveled at the aesthetics of of the Kibo Palace, the name of the hotel speaks for itself. I found the atmosphere to be lively and inviting. My room was clean, spacious and deliciously comfortable. And the ginger cookies that were left near my night table each evening, just added to the experience. I adored the staff, they made each moment of my stay joyful and pleasant. They went above & beyond to ensure that I felt like a king while at the Kibo Palace!I recommend requesting a room with a poolside view thats not too high up, that way you can really take in the view.

Some how good places..

They overbooked and sent us to an affiliate hotel when we arrived at about 11pm. We were hosting a conference at their hotel for 3 days and paid for tea service and food yet we couldn’t even stay at the hotel. The affiliate hotel was called Palace Hotel. Initially they tried to gaslight us by saying we booked the wrong hotel but we had printouts and emails showing we booked the Kibo Palace Hotel. We stayed the night at the Palace hotel which didn’t have comparable security.Breakfast is ok. Dinner buffet isn’t worth it. Should go ala cart. I will say this is probably one of the better hotels in Arusha if you actually get your reservation honored. There was a wall around the property and a guard at the gate at all times. Furniture and fixtures are dated.

Didnt stay here, but came for lunch and swim in pool. Had to pay to swim, even though we were paying for lunch. Meals were not cheap. Paid $28 for rubbery calamari and very greasy chips, $28 for dry fish, kids said their burgers were ok. They need to lift their game on quality of food to charge these prices.

Arrived late at night but we were greeted with warm damp towels and juice. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and they packed a generous box lunch for our long drive the next day. Bed and linens were heavenly comfortable. The porters were attentive and got our luggage quickly to our rooms and back down to our land cruiser the next morning. We were provided with a private meeting room in the morning to discuss our tour with the owner of the tour company. We were told if we needed to leave any of our luggage to reduce our load, it would be safely stored for us until our return in 2 weeks. Good strong wifi signal in our room and beautiful view from our window.

Kibo is all about class. The service is super professional. Everything is detailed. They have a lot of parking space at the back now. I suggested they create and outdoor loungy sort of thing where people can be laid back.

A place I wanna stay anytime I am in A Town! First class service. The rooms are just excellent. A true home of authentic Tanzanian hospitality.

The room and the bathroom were well equiped with amenities. The included breakfast was a buffet with a variety of options (waffles were available on request). The dinner buffet was also good and the staff was nice and helpful. They have also a pool to relax after a long day out and Arusha is a nice city to explore, even if its only the entry point to go to a safari afterwards.

A cosy hotel strategically located in Arusha.. The food was finger licking and the service was quite commendable. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
