What a wonderful hotel! After many nights of staying in lodges and campgrounds this hotel felt like absolute luxury (it is one of the nicer hotels in Arusha, from what I was told). The staff here is wonderful and attentive. The lobby area has a rustic travel themed decor that I absolutely love. There is a coffee shop, souvenir shop, and restaurant in the downstairs lobby area. The hotel has a great gym with many machines, weights, and other equipment. Next to the gym is an outdoor pool with plenty of seating around. Our room had a balcony facing the pool and hotel garden grounds - beautiful. The room itself was great and spacious, with fresh flowers for decor and a fruit plate welcome (we did get an upgrade and I do have status with Marriott). The wifi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. Breakfast is buffet style at the restaurant and has many options for all diets. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I love this hotel. It is a gem! The grounds are spectacular with their own gardener who will gladly give you a tour. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have great amenities. The food in both restaurants was always delicious. They even have a pizza oven that makes an incredible crust! The manager and all employees were extremely nice, professional, and accommodating.....AND the location is perfect. In the walls of the hotel, it is quiet and serene . Even though it is located in THE MIDDLE of downtown arusha. It is so easy to walk to places from this hotel. I cant wait for the opportunity to go back.

We stayed in the hotel one night on the way to safari and one night on the way back. The hotel and service was nice, but both times we had mosquitos buzzing in our room at night. And the room DOES NOT HAVE MOSQUITO NETS! To make it clear, we didnt open the windows, but at least in one room it felt like the window didnt close properly and it was probably the way the mosquito got inside. All in all - we spend half of the second night chasing the mosquito. Not the relaxed experience you want to have while on holidays.

As a walk in frequent guest, l can only speak of the restaurant that serves as a good high end, coffee shop. A very warm, and private meeting point if having a serious meeting or a relaxed date...:-)Try their coffee or hot chocolate and you wont be disappointed. Breakfast spread is also generous, with a big variety of items available and also very fresh.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I stopped over for one night on a business trip across three African countries and this was by far the best stopover. The hotel and staff were great. The location is central to the city and a great starting point if youre doing a safari. Although it did put a damper on the overall positive experience we had with the hotel.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I was in Arusha for an all Africa IHL Competition and stayed at the Hotel for a week. I really have to say I enjoyed staying at this place. I was absolutely blown away the minute I walked into the hotel, it is so beautiful and on top of that they have a beautiful scenery of a garden and a poolside. It was such an amazing experience to stay at a hotel that is welcoming through its scenery, through the staff it has who make sure that one is most welcome and enjoying their stay, through its delicious and well cooked food (honestly I am very picking when it comes to food especially when I am in a new place) but they outdid themselves and served such mouth watering food and through its clean environment both outside and in the rooms. Whenever you are in Arusha, personally I recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel, service is great there was always someone carrying our bags to the room as I dont believe there are any elevators. Breakfast buffet is very good much like a resorts buffet with lots and lots of options. Everything we had from the dinner menu was also really great and large portions - had the dinner buffet once and it was ok. Gym staff was also helpful at showing me how to use the weight machines as they were older then I was used too. The rooms we stayed is were both very large and the beds were comfortable as well. They also set up our honeymoon night very nicely as seen in the picture attached. Cheers Four Points for the memories. Two warnings: massage option is expensive (60usd an hour) and not worth it in my opinion even after climbing Kilimanjaro. Laundry make sure to see the list as it is also very expensive they tried charging us 1.5usd per sock -which said socks on the sheet so we thought it meant pair, they corrected this for us but was still very expensive.

We stayed 2 nights at the Four Points by Sheraton Arusha Hotel. The hotel is ideally located in the city’s center close to the Clock Tower. At the hotel, traditional ambiance is effortlessly combined with a refined style. From the minute we stepped inside to the moment we left, the hotel staff made sure everything met our expectations. Our room was spacious and equipped with modern furniture. We had two comfy double beds, which allow us to have our own space. Thanks to the twice-daily housekeeping our room was always clean. Moreover, we had a beautiful view of the leafy eastern Arusha from our window. Among the hotel’s key amenities, there are an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center to keep you in shape during your stay!Overlooking the gardens, the Parachichi Restaurant inside the hotel was our first choice for breakfast and dinner. There is an elegant terrace where we liked to sit to have breakfast. The breakfast was served in a buffet style, which allowed us to have plenty of choices to compose vegan plates. In the evening, we preferred to sit inside to have dinner and to enjoy the welcoming interior. The East African and Indian dishes featured on the menu were delightful and flavorsome. Each visit to the hotel restaurant was a delicious feast! We recommend you to book this hotel! For more pictures visit my Instagram (kelledstyle) and my blog ;-)

Great hotel in a central location in Arusha. Friendly staff, clean and modern rooms, nice garden and there’s a gym and a swimming pool. Once you’re inside, it feels like you’re not in Arusha anymore. The price is obviously a Western price and is disproportionate to the city, so if you’re okay with that then I definitely recommend this place.

I hated it. I hated because they made me feel unwelcome. The receptionists were very rude and said and I quote I hate black people who act white which was very racist and they also body shamed me, they called me fat- as if I didnt know that already, they made it worse and made me feel insecure and self conscious. I stayed there for a week. It was the worst experience of my life. If you want a good hotel in Arusha dont go to four points go to mount meru or even kibo palace. One of the nicest hotels in the Kilimanjaro region. This place feels like stepping into a top-notch American or European hotel. The rooms, dining, and facilities are excellent. I would highly recommend this place.Theres a pool, fitness center, restaurant, several bars, casino, gift shop, coffee shop, and conference rooms - all on site, The location cant be beat and I imagine the only reason the hotel was able to get so much land in such a central location is that its been around since before 1900.We were very impressed and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. I have seen some negative reviews online that seem to come from people who are used to top western hotels and may have only come to Tanzania for a luxury safari, staying here at the beginning or end. Im sure that there are things about this hotel that arent up to par with the best back home, but having lived in Tanzania a few months, this feels like pure luxury and a taste of home. Im sure you will be pleased.
