Met Lukhman by chance while walking through stone town on my first day there. I’m glad I did because he was very welcoming, charming and very informative on his excursion to Prison Island and the rest of Stone Town. He was also very instrumental in organising high quality transport to other areas of the island with a good trustworthy driver. There are many tour operators in Stone Town but I felt to go with Lukhman due to his friendly attitude and his story about building a business with his brother. Lukhman is very entrepreneurial with lots of tenacity and his business deserves to be the best tour operator on the island. He and his company are very trustworthy and would only recommend the best for any tourists on the island.

Ive enjoyed four awesome trips to Zanzi in the last couple of years, thanks to Abdi & Luku. 3 of those solo. I can highly recommend this tour company!! Abdi and Lukman are great tourguides and you can trust them to 100%. During my 2-week vacation on this beautiful island I booked several tours over Splash: City Tour through Stone Town, Prison Island including the visit of the turtle station, Safari Blue and the Spice Tour with a visit to a spice farm. I always felt in good hands on all tours with Lukman at my side. Whether on the City Tour, where he could shine with his extensive knowledge of the history of the city and always dropped one or the other anecdote about the customs of the locals, or the Safari Blue, during which you can spend the day in a local sailboat, called Dhow sails over the turquoise waters and snorkeling in the reef between the colorful fish.
