Nice rooftop place in the Spice Palace hotel on the 3 floor. View is more than ok, nice breeze was more than welcomed. We had pepper steak and pan fried lemon chicken, we wanted side dish with chicken to be half to half mixed from fried bananas and ugali and it was no problem. Staff was nice, we waited a little for the food but pole pole, this is Africa. I recommend this place, one of the best restaurants I ate in in Stone Town, also nice value for money.
We had a nice and quiet lunch on the rooftop. You could see the nearby church and prison island in the distance. We enjoyed the funny signs in the flower pots. Food was reasonably priced and was tasted good.
The food variety is 2/10 its so small. They charge extra money for cappucino while they bring you normal black coffee with milk. Slow service.
Pricey but pleasant place for a few drinks and kind staff
Absolutely incredible masala and iced coffee
