A HIDDEN GEM.We stumbled upon this place by coincidence, and had the best meal of our entire trip to Zanzibar (10 days). This place has it all: great wine, beautiful views, INCREDIBLE food, fresh seafood, refreshing juices, and very genuine service. The waiters & bartender danced & had such a great energy. Honestly, we spent the rest of the trip wishing we could go back for more. Highly recommend the seafood pasta & walnut gnocchi!

In my opinion, this place is ridiculous! They cannot cook meal properly. They brought “seafood salad” with 3 peace of seafood. Octopus with coconut sauce was a very strict and they forgot to bring me salad (which was in that menu with octopus).Staff don’t help me with that situation and owner didn’t want to speak.I think your business cannot grow if you don’t want to do anything with that.

I do not recommend it. They do care only about their premium guests. If you order expensive wines, seafood etc., then you gonna be served. If you are a normal client who wants to eat something good, then expect huge delays without any notice. We had to wait more than an hour for our meals without any sorry. After 40 minutes, they insolently asked if wed like to order more juices. What a shame! They should have provided us at least with some drinks due to extended waiting time. No. Nothing. Finally, after 1 h I demanded some water for us just to stay alive. The waitress who cared only about aforementioned premium guests called for a manager. He came up to us with an ironic smile on his face, trying to find an excuse that they are busy due to their hotel guests. Come on! This is a beach bar. We do not care about your hotel located somewhere well behind your restaurant. Just to be clear, we could find it hakuna matata provided its a cheap local restaurant which is not. You try to resemble European standards. If so, you must treat your customers in that way. There were other people iritated by the very same thing. When we finally finished our meals, the waitress was ostentatiously counting the money right in front of us what we found pretty humiliating. Worst expirence during our stay.

I’d like to give 10 stars but it is impossible. It was wonderful. Cleans rooms, tasty food in the restaurant. Many thanks to Claudia and the Peter Pan staff for everything and for my wifes birthday special thanks.

I don’t know who had here positive experience, but they have spoiled everything possible on the dinner.Octopus salad came with tinny octopus so hard to chew that even I can cook it smoother.Fish of the day was red snapper came burned outside and raw inside.Asked for mixed olives and they were un eatable ( although weighted told us about this ).Stuff didn’t know his wine stock, asked for Sauvignon , they have brought Chardonnay.They also have interesting credit card fee payment. They convert tzs to usd using low rate and then add 5% card fee )

If I ever come back to PETER PAN it will be for the 2 reasons - passion fruit cheese cake and THE LOVLIEST staff on Jambiani beach! Grazie mille to the owner Claudia who made this cheese cake especially for me and my friends and please take a good care of your lovely staff, especially Happy Happy! This girl is their waiter and her name in Swahili means Happiness...However I thought her to say it in Serbian (SRECA) and whenever she used to see me she would greet me with SRECA! Such a great bunch of people! HUG FROM SERBIA e ci vediamo prestoooo!!!

Theft in credit card payment (20%!!!!!). We said ok when they told us the 5% like in the rest of Jambiani, but after that they told us that their boss order them to make another exchange from shillings to dolars. A 37000tzs bill converted into 44000tzs bill. Bad move to catch clients during Covid time.

The owners, Claudia and Arnaldo are two wonderful people! The staff always sunny and with a printed smile! The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Excellent Italian cuisine and more! Good good good! We will come back whenever we have the chance! A hug!

All fantastic !! The magiare the staff the owner very nice! Or tried a lot of restaurants in zanzibar but none were as fantastic as the peter pan great complement to the cheff de cucine which cooks very well !!Ill be back to eat for sure;)

Very nice place to dine with your feet in the sand facing the ocean! The staff are really lovely and attentive. The prices are reasonable, around 20,000 shillings a dish. Italian dishes are a bit different from the traditional dishes that can be found everywhere

The price is very expensive for Italian cuisine which has nothing to do with real Italian cuisine.Legs submerged in tomato sauce.Crab gnocchi without seeing the color of the crabs, which are mixed in the sauce separately.This restaurant is extra for not much.We took the trouble to order 45 minutes before.To let them know of our arrival and that we would like it to be ready when we arrive.Results 45 minutes later we Come to settle down with a 10-minute extra wait.

In general - not a bad place, they work slowly, the food is average, the price tag is normal. You can take a walk along the beach, you can swim.
