Brand new hotel and very clean. Rooms and bathrooms of high standard. Very convenient hotel especially with kids as theres not much walking to do to get anywhere. Our room is right next to the beach, main pool and restaurant. Beautiful white sand on the beach and clear, warm waters. Food and buffet is exceptional and of high quality and presentation. One suggestion would be to have a more child friendly menu option at the pool for lunch time. Will definitely stay here again!

There is nothing at Marijani that I wouldn’t rate as exceptional.Safe, peaceful, immaculately clean with a picture perfect beach. Stunning new rooms!To say that the staff were amazing would be an understatement. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home, and honestly treated me like a queen. I felt very spoilt.The Marijani team are really what makes this hotel the perfect choice. Oh, and the food! Which was some of the best I have EVER had! Presentation, quality, taste. Everything was perfect and better than food I’ve had at Michelin star restaurants in Paris.I will never forget what an incredible trip I had to Marijani and I will definitely be back, bringing all of my friends and family so that they can also experience what a wonderful place Marijani is.Thank you to everyone at Marijani! We spent one of the best times at Marijani. The staff, the rooms are one of a kind. The food is by far one of the best weve ever had. I must say despite of us being vegetarians, the chef put his heart into the meals, gave us innovative and new dishes. Thank you Chef Robin for the unforgettable experience. Marijani is one of the best luxury resorts I have ever been to. The stay was amazing because of the helpful staff, beautiful rooms and great food.Marijani caters to vegetarians as well which was the integral part of our trip. We had a great time with our family! We had a great time at Marijani as it is a beautiful resort. I guess with time the resort will become even more beautiful when trees provide more shadow and when the service staff is a bit more trained.Pros: (Almost everything)Great pool, great rooms, and amazing food! Even though eat vegan, we could could enjoy the meals. Especially the starters were amazing. The whole hotel was decorated nicely during Christmas. The beach area is really beautiful and the gardener was the most friendly person helping us with setting up the loungers.Cons: (Service & Unfinished Building)Our check in was already unacceptable. We booked through Agora and paid everything online. In the hotel, they wanted us to pay again. When we showed them the payment confirmation, they told us to call Agoda ourself a and and refused to check us in or handle things with Agoda. The staff was really unprofessional and we were about to leave after 1 hour when then everything was eventually resolved.In the Restaurant, the Service was really unorganized. For each meal we had 10 different waiters serving us, serving the bill during the appetizer, serving warm, insufficient English skills, getting the order wrong several times. The cleaning staff left their dirty cleaning cloth in our room twice.Another incident was that the receptionist wanted to charge us 69$ for the taxi to Stonetown, but in the end we only had to pay 40$ (suspicious). To summarize, the staff is really friendly but I guess they need some more training and will get better with time for sure :)Also the building was not completely done. I walked on screws in the room and outside serval times. Bed could be more soft.

We spend 7 nights at Marijani Resort and Spa at the begining of March 2022.The hotel is a new one, the rooms are very confortable, the ocean is gorgeus. We arrived at hotel at 9 o clock in the morning and the offered us complementary breakfast and also early booking.Staff was very kind with us especially Makame who was very friendly.Thank you for this beatiful vacantion!!!🤗🤗

Best resort in zanzibar

Horrible food, cold dishes, but warm white wine!During our stay a single, well-trained waiter! Efforts, not very capable receptionists, who constantly and with every little thing make telephone inquiries to the invisible management, in order to receive little customer-friendly instructions from there! Never again, also because completely overpriced with constant mistakes!

A new hotel where everyone is trying incredibly hard. A lot of greenery, jackdaws that pull chips) this place is cooler than Nungwi and Kendwa. For the level is high, and there are few tourists. The food is very varied, Anthony Robin is one of the best in this part of the globe. The manager hears you in a second. They changed our room on one request. The hotel was opened by the president. Near the village and school. Dont refuse locals to take you there for $40. The hotel has live music every evening.
