We spent a lovely 2 nights at Kilindini. The room exceeded our expectations - it was spacious, clean and nicely set up. The property was well looked after with a beautiful beach, big pool and beautiful garden area. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The views from the room were great. We stayed in the low season so it wasnt busy at all which we enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was really good, a la carte lunch delicious and the buffet dinner was good too. Few things could be improved on service side but its Zanzibar and a new hotel so its something that can be forgiven in a newly opened hotel. All in all we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay throughout.
Don’t believe the pictures about the beach. The water and electricity stops 2 times a day. I thought there was a Gym, but when I arrived at the hotel the gym wasn’t finished yet. Bad experience!
Its fantastic place around matemwe and nice beach nice hotel
Its nice place amazing beach and incredible at kilimajuu
That place is cute yes I love it
Nice
The good hoteli
New resort that opened in mid Feb 2022. The places is really nice with nice pool and a quiet beach. Food is very good with buffet plus grilled fish/meat. Make sure to book All inclusive as there are not many options around. Bar service is quite slow but this goes back to the recent opening. Eveyone is willing and it can be seen that the service gets better over time. I am sure that this will be a 5 Star review in a few weeks.
Hotel on a human scale (80 rooms) very nice decor, very large and airy space, a beautiful view of the sea, very welcoming and smiling staff but a bit pole pole (slow..!!). Very spacious rooms (entrance, dressing area, bathroom, bedroom and terrace). The only downside is the size of the shower which seems ridiculous compared to the size of the bathroom!!!The hotel has just opened its doors (early February), there are things to review and progress to make: power and water cuts, no hot water and HS air conditioning in some rooms, leaks of water, clogged toilets... but fairly quick maintenance intervention. This hotel is not recommended for small children and people with reduced mobility as it has stairs throughout the resort!!! No childrens club. The swimming pool is suitable even if in busy periods it will quickly fill up! Plenty of deckchairs available around the pool and by the beach.2 restaurants on site: one in the form of a buffet (you have to guess the menu because the description of the dishes is not always indicated and the allergens either) and the other à la carte (and which is included in the all in, info that was not specified on arrival ..). Unlimited alcoholic and soft drinks as well as fresh juices! The breakfast buffet is repetitive so you get tired after a few days.. a few changes to lunch and dinner but very few local specialties (what a pity!).. 3 bars: pool bar, one on the beach and the last in front of the buffet restaurant for the evenings. On the entertainment side: a single animator Carlos who struggles to find activities (walking on the beach, coconut tree activity, volley ball in the swimming pool, etc.) and a few dancing concerts (3 out of 7 nights spent on site). On the activities side: Icon Zanzibar is present at the reception and offers activities such as quad biking, excursions at reasonable prices (call price because recent hotel..?)The hotel is still under construction, the gym, the spa, the nautical center and the hotel shop are not finished. There are regular interventions on the complex but very few nuisances.Plan to walk between the different points of the hotel because the complex is large.Guards are present along the beach.5 star hotel of the Spanish chain SBH which does not have the standard of a 5 star but rather a very good 3 star. Its a shame for a group that already owns several hotels and has experience.
Oooh! The laaah! Its magnificent so welcome, its superb the hotel to sleep and eat
