Never had a chance to try their meals since we ordered two coffees and service was terrible, no milk or sugar and when I asked for it we got milk for one person only. Waiter was grumpy and unpleasant.Prices are good and view is amazing.(Will update if we decide to give them second chance)

Adorable local restaurant with absolutely delicious and reasonably priced sea food. We have been coming here repeatedly and we were never let down. The place is right at the beach, so expect nice view and fresh breeze. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing! I highly recommend the lobsters and avocado-mango salad!

This is a very good small restaurant. It is on the Beachfront, you have your foot on sand, you enjoy the beautiful ocean views and you can eat tasty food. We were here 9 days in a row and every dish was amazing. The waiter, Simai, will guide and offer you the daily catch. Dont miss them. The food is as good as in a 4 stars restaurant.

Delicious seafood at 1/2 the price of Uppendo and The Rock. Superbly located next to the beach with stunning views. Highly recommend the fish in coconut sauce to go with rice. Perfect place to chill and have lunch. Friendly Zanzibar service will make you feel right at home when you step in. Massively underrated!

The food was great and the view even better. The waitor was so friendly and welcoming, he alone is worth a visit. He brought us freshly picked coconut from local guys. Prices are normal.

Nice small local place where you can dine with your feet in the sand, overlooking the ocean and The Rock Restaurant. Good prices, especially compared to the surrounding restaurants. My husband had the fish of the day (tuna steak) which was quite nice and I had the calamari which were terribly overcooked. The fresh pineapple juice we had was absolutely amazing, and the beer was nice and properly cold (in some places the beer is not cold enough).

What an amazing place! Same view like from the rock, but much cheaper and better food! FANTASTIC lobster!!!! Must try when you’re in Zanzibar!!

Food is okay (but not very good). Portions of meat a super small. On top my meat was with way too much salt and spyces.

What a great local experience. The food here is fantastic. The service is great and very attentive. Been here 3 times on our trip for fantastic well priced seafood. Highly recommended the coconut sauced fish however anything off the grill is equally tasty.

Really nice food and really well priced. The fish and fruit was really fresh, so try and go there for lunch as they may run out of fish of the day for dinner and its really worth it. Staff there are very friendly too! Highly recommended!

Great place, authentic. Everything is very delicious. Mango salad - avocado is just space! Delicious whole squid with seafood, we recommend. The restaurant is located next to the famous the Rock, and if suddenly there are no tables there, you can have a great time in this restaurant.

Restaurant on the beach in zanzibar to eat fish, lobster, etc. It is on the beach, run by local people, and you eat very well. Also, it is much cheaper than any lodge or hotel restaurant. We were a large group and we ate lobster, jumbo prawns, octopus and something else, and it was all very tasty and well priced ($ 15 per person including drinks). The guys in the restaurant very nice. To repeat.

A nice place .... heavenly place PANDU NGOZI excellent beach restaurant in authentic Tanzanian style. Nothing to envy to the Rock. If you want excursions at a very competitive price I recommend Captain Mango you can find it in the village gift shop next door.

Good little restaurant across from The Rock for a very good and inexpensive alternative! Too bad from a certain time there is only fish and grilled meat and no more sauce dishes and the rest of the menu. Very good discovery though!

Pleasant stop overlooking the more famous (but much more expensive) The Rock. Here you can eat very well in complete relaxation. Quality at fair prices!

We were looking for a cheap alternative to the Rock and came across this restaurant via Google.When we were there, we were presented with 3 menus, which were full of delicacies. When the waiter asked us after a waiting time of about 20 minutes what we wanted to order, we had to find out that none of the seafood dishes were available (half the menu consists of seafood)He said there was only chicken and beef. Then we left the restaurant ...Fortunately for us, we found the small but nice Coconut Restaurant a few hundred meters further on.2 stars because there was beer and the view of The Rock was nice.

Eating right on the beach, at a very good price, ensures memories that you will come back to for a long time. I am glad that I could be there and eat so tasty.

Had a wonderful afternoon with great food and delicious cocktails at Pandu Ngozi !! The location is fantastic, the restaurant itself is very charming and lovingly decorated.We had three main courses for two, because we couldnt make up our minds with the great selection of fish dishes. In addition, the prices were extremely moderate. Cocktails for the normal price 6 $, happy hour cheaper. Big beer $ 2.50 and the grilled fish dishes were $ 7.50 for the octopus or a whole fish, $ 11 for King Prawns. As a side dish, salad and fries.The hosts were extremely friendly and attentive.We will definitely go again during our stay in Zanzibar and can highly recommend it to everyone :-))
