Healthy option! Quick service, incredible coffee. Enjoyed some hummus and chips, tuna kebab with chickpeas, and some vegetable curry. Lots of fish and meat options too. Definitely visit here if youre looking for a nice cost-friendly local place to eat.

DONT GO THERE!!! I ordered a dish for 44.000 chelines, which the menu said came with lobster, prawns, octopus, fish, squid. To my surprise there was only a small amount of squid and a derisory amount of octopus, an weird fish and two minis shrimps. Of course if you pay 44.000, you want lobster and prawns!! Well, I called the waitress (who doesnt speak English) and asked: is that it?! wheres the rest?! and she just said she only had squid and octopus! and I asked: and this will cost 44?! and she: yes! and besides not being what I asked for, the little that came was horrible! Looked like old good! I didnt even eat! I left a good part of the dish! But the bill came... and they charged me 44.000 for a dish of lobster and prawns without lobster and prawns! Anyway, I felt robbed! the people in this restaurant are dishonest thieves! I paid because I know it wouldnt do for anything to make a fuss, but I wanted to call the police! I took a picture of the menu and the seafood dish. At Lecker Lecker restaurant I paid 35.000 (cheaper) and then the seafood dish really came with everything on the menu! Anyway, my only experience so far with dishonest people in Zanzibar! So dont go to that place! I would like to give 0 star!

In three words: seafood only here! If you plan to travel to Paye Sansibar...thats the place you have too eat! State of art!

Great place, delicious food, comfortable environment. The staff is super, very helpful! The owner is very communicable, hospitable, funny and a good singer😀 He taught us Swahiri. Many thanks to everyone, we will definitely be back.

The host is great , we had a nice meal, one of the best meals, it is close to the beach, but the local air and the taste worth it. One of the best meals we had in Zanzibar and the most nice manager and carefull with all our needs.

This chicken from the grill is amaaaazingly good! Advice to order up front, as it takes 2 hours to prepare, but so worth it.

Seafood soup without fish or octopus

We were there yesterday and it made our day. We ate some vegetarian samosas and chicken curry, it was delicious!! The waitress was such a cutie and got us some pancakes for free in the end. Would totally recommand this place.

We waited about 35 minutes for our food so the order came relatively quickly. We ordered kombuchs and gingerbeers, the drinks were in a small glass and I think they were watered down. Juices quite expensive ... Food was delicious we ordered calamari and octopus in curry sauce with coconut milk and rice and a small portion of salad. Nice and smiling staff :) nice decor of the restaurant, unfortunately the downside is the busy road, where it is very loud and all the dust is deposited on the tables.

Lovely service. You can order local dishes: Urojo soup (ala Polish sour rye soup) and Ugali, which is not on the menu.

We stopped there by chance and we werent disappointed. Good value for money, it was very good and made with fresh produce. We recommend that you go

The owner of the cafe is a friendly person and tries very hard to make the guests feel comfortable. This is a big plus. If we talk about food, then the dishes need some refinement. We ordered grilled prawns with rice and prawns in curry and fries. In my opinion, let there be 2-3 shrimps, but they should be larger. It is extremely inconvenient to eat salad shrimps, which have not yet been cleared of chitin.A separate request to the chef: when cooking curry, never put shell-on shrimp in the dish, and even more so with the head. Chewing shrimp whiskers is extremely unpleasant. I wish your establishment prosperity. Work and you will succeed! :-)

Very good restaurant with a very friendly, extremely hard-working host!The food tasted excellent. We had calamari rings with spicy sweet sour sauce and grilled baracuda with curry and rice! We can only recommend a visit :) Be sure to try the ginger beer😉
