Jahazi restaurant is one of the best and cheapest restaurant in Paje! The food is really good and you will get full from the big servings😋! The chef Mr. Roger and his brother Sijid are so friendly that makes this restaurants even better!You will find this restaurant at the corner of the village market next to Aluna hotel.

This is my favorite restaurant in Paje so far. The food is delicious!They have quite a few vegetarian/ vegan options. I can recommend the coconut beans and the veggie masala. Both are very tasty and flavorful! I would recommend to order it with chapati.We even came there again the next day immediately because we liked it so much. 😊😊😊

A very small, hidden restaurant that amazes you with its incredible food!!! We tried several of the special seafood mixes and the masala seafood mix with white rice and pilau and everything tasted exquisite!!! The fresh juices were very good!! Also, quick serving, good size portions and good prices, we will surely come back!

Very very good food! Crispy fries and fresh sea food. We went more than once!I can also really recommend the Avocado Toast which is super tasty! The prices are reasonable! If you go to Paje dont miss this restaurant!

Lovely local restaurant, dont let yourself get scared away by the (admittedly) funny flashing christmas lights hanging outside. All the food is prepared right after you order it (wait time is 30-40 minutes)Food: 10/10, had Chicken Curry, King Prawns and Catch of the day.Important: like all local Restaurants, bring time. Depending on what you order, they may have to get some things from the market (for example beer).

It made our stay in Paje, we almost ate in it everyday for 8 days.It has the most delicious food in Paje and always fresh and has a big portions.you may wait a little but youll get a fresh, delicious plate of your choice.

Delicious food!!! Their Zanzibar spiced chicken and Grilled Jumbo prawns are exceptional and full of flavours. Hats off to the chef, this place is a favourite and we will definitely be returning!

During my month in Zanzibar I have been to this restaurant most days.The food is fantastic, the mixed fish grill always exceptional, not to mention all the masala dishes (chicken, mix seafood, ...)I felt like home.Another plus point is the location: it is not on the beach and for this reason it is protected from the evening wind.Try it and you wont be able to do without it anymore.

Local and super fresh food (direct from the fishermen when ordering) with low prices for the region!We enjoyed ourselves two nights in a row with a very nice waiter and chef. We recommend!

Very typical in the middle of the Paje market, I ate a crazy fresh Masala fish. I advise 100%. In addition, they donate 10% of their profit to the profile of the underprivileged community of the village.

I ate here from start to finish (13 days - menu Rauf + Runter ...!)! IT WAS SO FANTASTIC I CAN ONLY ADVISE EVERYONE TO EAT HERE! Its cheap and, above all, ABSOLUTELY FRESH !!! NO other restaurant, makes such great and cheap dishes! I have NEVER met such lovely people in my 150 or so vacations as HERE! Ill be back this year! Very nice restaurant, close to the beach. The food is tasty and you dont have to wait long for it, we ate grilled fish, chicken, pasta with seafood and a burger - all fresh and well seasoned. Another advantage is the very nice and helpful staff!

We eat here about every 2 days, our favorite is the avocado, mango, cheese salad and the vegetable coconut curry with rice. We are vegetarians, and of course there are meat and fish dishes too. The food is delicious and the service leaves nothing to be desired. We always feel very comfortable here and like to come for dinner or lunch. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant, so if you are in Paje you should definitely eat here.

Disappointed, the waiter was not pleasant, not smiling and his service worthy of a school canteen, on the other hand the food was very good with the quantity for a reasonable price, on the other hand we waited long enough and were not served at the same time
