It has a peaceful and relaxed ambiance right in front of the beach. Like literally 5 steps away. Stayed here for lunch and the food is also good. If you are walking along the beach and you’ll pass this bar/restaurant, just give it a try. Although they don’t offer happy hour drinks in here, the alcoholic drinks are still reasonably priced.

Noisy with loud music and smoking. Nothing close to what we imagined. Dirty seats and tables at the restaurant. Guest house rooms equipment and furniture is old and not functioning well. The owner is extremly rude, staff seems to be annouyed with customers. We did not feel to be welcomed. And were very happy to leave asap.

Unfortunately the person who greeted us and wanted to take our order was so rude, impatient and patronizing, that we actually ended up leaving. So no idea what the food tastes like, but his behavior was bad enough for us to not want to stay there.Another couple we met told us that they had just eaten there, and that the guy had tried to cheat them on their bill and overcharge them.

Walking along Nungwi beach you will easily meet this magical and relaxing place. A nice selection of music, a very natural environment, comfortable sofas and hammocks, a feeling of total relaxation while drinking a cold beer and enjoying excellent fresh and well-cooked food of the day. The view of the beach and the sea is wonderful with the many traditional fishing boats that are always active during the day. If you love Reggae music and pure relaxation with a drink or a book in hand, for a break or a meal, this is the right place for you. We have not stayed in the bungalows, our experience concerns only the Bar.

Best value for money bungalows - clean and very close to the beach (first line)3. Very nice territory - relaxing sofas and hammocks. Open fire at the evening.4. Sometimes live music - Reggie and acoustic covers.

This place deserves a 5 start just for the location (dont go behind the geust house 😀) .The vibe is cool, the food is great, the beach is astonishing & the breakfast is the best i had in Tanzania.Im only giving it 4 start because the price was quite high for low season in the dorm. The dorm is quite simple, no washroom (you have to walk a few meters & it was raining) and the guy wouldnt negotiate the price.The other rooms are quite nice if you can afford.But dont hesitate to check out this place. Ill gladly go back

Best quality price ratio of Nungwi ... naturally arranged, nice room : with few decoration but that dont look like a prison room like most of the other places with such a low price. 50 USD/night at Xmas time, breakfast included, chilled music and the bar on the beach. Nested between the fishermen, this place lets you watch the daily live of inhabitants, while enjoying good and cheap local food under the palm trees. Everyone in here was super friendly to us, from the workers to the manager. we also.had a walk all around the village, visited different other options and realised we really have the best choice here :)

This is a lovely local bar on the seafront surrounded by foliage. The service was great and it had a great atmosphere. Chicken was slightly dry but overall a great meal and great place to chill out.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely room but overlooked the rubbish dump out the back. Good bar overlooking a beautiful beach. Good chilling music. Best breakfast I had on the whole island. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing beach bar plays primarily reggae. They do a beach cookout over hardwood that will fulfill any hunger. This is a place to watch the Dhows go out to fish at sunset and their white sails disappear over the horizon while nursing a cocktail and watching the magical calisthenics of the beach boy soccer players

If you like the authentic side of the island this is the side to go. You will see the magnificent fishermens boats and their work and finds throughout the day.A corner still not very touristy.Regarding the guest house -> very nice staff, great music all day. Lots of nice places to rest and just enjoy the sound of the waves.Excellent food and good atmosphere guaranteed!Only downside for me, after my first night I was asked if there was a need to make my room I answered no today, but I never saw the cleaning lady and my room again. was therefore never cleaned. (But for me thats a detail because I could also have asked or demanded that we come and clean it)But I highly recommend the guest house!

The place looks pretty in the evening and thats all. The food is mediocre. Tuna (only well cooked) served with potatoes, no salad.Wrap chicken is a little fat and a lot of spices. Finger fish is dry. (Perhaps because of the type of fish and the rather finely chopped pieces of fish. There is something to compare.)Freshly mixed with water.I think the price is too high for such a meal.

Very nice bar to spend a relaxing day on the beach with cool drinks in the shade. Loungers, hammocks and bar dogs available. We stayed here every afternoon.

A good cafe on the ocean, rent a bungalow a stones throw from here, come and relax here, there are sun loungers, wi-fi paid $ 5 and we use it for several days. The food is tasty and inexpensive, passion fruit juice, freshly squeezed mango 2.5 dollars. Safari and Kilimanjaro beer is called good.

Very emotional place with cool music, relaxed atmosphere and the best pinacolade on the island (with fresh juice!). From the bungalow you should not expect anything outstanding, modest, but acceptable. The breakfasts are great. Feel free to advise for budget travel.

Top (restaurant, I have not stayed at the hotel)! The location is ideal, on the beach, with your feet in the sand. We sit facing the sea, in a cool atmosphere (hammocks, music, boat hull transformed into a lounge ...) and we eat well for affordable prices! Wifi available for $ 2. I recommend !!

We spent several days in the guest house. After some small things (no check in, waiting for the key, AC not adjustable, door lock had to be fixed) we had a great time! The location is awesome, away from the crowded beaches, sunrise and sunset.Quiet cozy days guaranteed! We enjoyed the time

We spent the night and lived in this place for several days. We were very pleased. Despite Ramadan, a lively place. In the evenings, reggae music, a great atmosphere of relaxation and chillout fun. The only place in Nungwi that lived during Ramadan. The food in the restaurant is tasty, the prices are fair. As for the rooms - standard ok, only the mosquito net above the beds was missing (maybe it changed - it was 2017).

It is a nice little bar where you can relax (in the sense of total relaxation) in the shade of the internal tables or in a hammock. You can drink drinks (from the juice of exotic fruit squeezed on the spot to the local frozen beer), but also eat. The beach is very beautiful, but not practicable due to the strong current (you can swim at low tide if the algae do not bother you).

Friendly atmosphere, shaded area for lounging and normal rates. Positive point, its the small shower of fresh water available on the beach, its great.An absent star, like the waitresss smile.By cons we have not stayed in the hotel and can not give our opinion on it
