My partner and I recently joined a safari to Ruaha National Park with a couple other people. We joined last minute, and I can only say great things! We were on a bit of a budget, and Double g safaris worked to make it affordable for all of us. Max was our guide, and he was truly awesome. He was super knowledgable about the place and animals and was happy to share that knowledge. And aside from guiding us he was just a pleasure to hang out with and chat about pretty much anything. If you are looking for a safari company to go with in Tanzania, I cannot recommend Max and his team enough. 5 stars yo!

Excellent safari! Max is very experienced and educated guide. He speakes good English and knows everything about animals and birds. Also he is friendly with most of other drivers and they share information about animals location. We saw every possible animal we could with Max. We even saw lions mating. Max answered all our questions about animals and wrote all the latin names of birds we saw. It was one of the best experience in Tanzania!

I was driving through mikumi national Park and my car broke down. I was planning to meet Max around noon to start the safari. He towed our car to a repair shop and took us on an Excellent safari. Brought us to his home for breakfast on the last day. He is very knowledgeable and a great person to spend a few days with.

We had a one day safari in mikumi nationalpark with double g safaris. It was very interesting and the guides were very friendly. We could see lots of animals. The safari car was really comfy and the total safari was well organized. Would definitely recommend it!

I had an amazing day at mikumi nationalpark with max. The park was beautiful, we saw a lot of animals. He knows exactly where to search for the rarer animals like lions, hippos, crocs and lizards. The gamedrives with doubleg are very educational because they can tell you about herdstructures, birds, plants and whatever you ask for.Best of luck to you max and your enterprise!

We went to Safari at Mikumi nationalpark. Guide was very good and had lots of knowledge about the animals and nature. Mikumi is very good park and lots of animals in big herds. We slept in Asante Africa Camp, very beautiful location near the park, there is nice cottages, remember to have long sleeves and trousers becouse it is in the middle of nature. Next day we went to masai village, they dressed us on masai clothes and we walk throw the village. Masai men danced for us and show how to make fire with sticks. If you think about going to Safari we definately recommend Max to be your guide!

I have gone on two safaris now with Max and would recommend him to anyone wanting to visit Mikumi or Ruaha national parks. He is very easy to reach during the planning, and is very knowledgeable about the parks and animals.

I had a two days private safari in Mikumi national Park Witz Francis. I felt very welcomed and he showed and explained so mich to me. Hey great experience! When I visite Tansania next time I will book a serengeti safari with YouTube guys!On the second day I also visited Masai village with Max. They showed me the way Masai live and how they make fire. We also sing and dance together.great!

A perfect safari, with Maximilian and his brother we saw more animals than we expected. They are very competent, kind and calm. We were in good hands for three days and we are very happy to have seen so many animals and so many things. They took us back to Dar es Salaam and then we spent two days at the mikumi park.
