Irente view point is amazing. One of the best view point I have never seen so far. Is open 24/7 and you can access it for price. From Lushoto town you can take motorbike tax to irente enjoy the sunset then comeback to town. You can also walk but it a long distance especially if you dont have enough time

It’s a very nice view, small little hike, 2k entry. Hotel will try to charge you fees, but public path is available and tbh it has better views than hotel.

Irente viewpoint is one of a kind. Standing on a rock 1500m above sea level and seeing the beautiful sunken landscape stretching Kilometers was so amazing. The one thing worth not to miss, is the sunset at this high point.

Absolutely breathtaking. Best time to visit is during the afternoon. If youre lucky, you might meet a cool local dude called Pascal, and he will tell you about the local legends, history and his dad. Ask him to show you his chameleon and the echo walls.Definitely recommended!There is a small conservation fee of 2000 shillings per person

Take a hike to Irente view point for an amazing unique view. Its breath taking to be in one with nature. I had a symbolic memorable moment on this view point, 3 beautiful yellow and black butterflies were all over me.

Magnificent and breathtaking views at Irente Viewpoint. Theres a small hike from the hotel to the viewpoint and there is a small entrance fees from Irente Hill Lodge. From the viewpoint you can see the whole plains and changes in vegetation and smaller villages on the foothills, the blue sky and changing colors from the sky to grounds. Amazing experience not to be missed when you are in Lushoto.

One of the places not to miss if you are in Lushoto. The hike there is through a forest reserve then passing through cottages experiencing local life. Keep your eyes open for some wildlife as well.The view point gives you a great view of the plains and sunset. Give yourself a break to enjoy the majestic view.

Beautiful view overlooking the valley below. It is 1000 shillings to pass throughout the hotel then 2000 shillings to pass through the village gate. Definitely a must see in Lushoto.

Loved it! Beautiful scenery, breathtaking views and amazing atmosphere ❤ if you plan to visit the area after sundowner then dont forget to grab a jacket or sweater as it gets windy and kinda chilly!The drinks on the menu were okay and reasonably priced! The food prices were pricey, way above what we expected so we left and went to eat somewhere else.

Amazing view

Hiked for hours to go up to the point. What an amazing in view from the top of Usambara Mountains. Every season got its on mood. Wet is always foggy especially early morning and it is slippery during going up. Dry is a best spot to see the sunset.

The location was quite a distance from Lushoto town, Usambara mountains and took between 2-3 hours to get there. The views were beautiful, but the campground below average and the lodge rooms were so-so and left a lot to be desired.The food was bland and boarding school like and certainly not worth the 100 dollar charge per room. A good place to visit but not worth the price tag. 100 dollars for a room like that in this part of the world is definitely an overcharge! With very few great activities to do, its definitely not value for money unless you chose to wild camp

Totally worth the visit. Entry fee is 2000 tsh per person, view is impressive. You can easily walk from Lushoto without a guide. The dirt road go through authentic villages.

Being at 1500M above sea level is a unique experience as you almost assume that wings are just next to you. When in Lushoto it is quite fair to make this place as a Must Go Place as for sure you will not regret

Great view, takes about 1.5-2 hours nice walk through villages by foot from Lushoto or 10,000 TZS with taxi (one way, dont pay more). There is a 2,000 TZS per person of village fee at the entrance and another 1,000 TZS if you want to go throught the hotel, but you can easily avoid the hotel by using the path 50 meters below the hotel, it has a sign.I would recommend to go for a nice walk by foot on a nice day to view the sunset and ask the people in the hotel to get you a taxi for the way back. We bought beers in the hotel, thus avoiding the 1,000 passing fee through it.

Irente View Point gives a good look from the top of the mountain. The good view from the top plus a pleasant weather you can not regret to spend your time at this place
