I strongly recommend Keys Bungalows restaurant as they serve delicious food 😋, very tasty, fresh, served in a large plate so you really get value for money. The place is peaceful and ideally located right on the beach so you enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean. And once you finish you can relax on one of the hamacs with your feet on the sand, with some reggae background music. The place is owned by very friendly locals offering an authentic experience.You should definitely go there if you come to Matemwe.

Excellent food and place with always fresh and delicious fish!! Very friendly staff, specially the owner - Ali and waiter Jula. We also did the boat trip to the mnemba island, where you can go snorkeling and see dolphins :D
