The beach is nice. Sometimes you can swim, other times you can look up for shells and tide leftovers. Not so nice is the road to it. Seems like there are two different worlds. One side you can see luxury resorts, instagrammable beach with palm trees, but on the other side you can see the poverty of the people who are living there
Always a pleasure to come here. The rooms are perfectly sited, clean and spacious. The food is delicious and if you specifically ask for a special dish they will organise it. Birthday cakes are also organised. Could not recommend more highly.
Unfortunately not the right time to come during March or even a month before or after. Lot of seagrass etc. Not good season.
It is amazing visiting the East Coast. Places like Jambiani and Paje have got natural beautiful coast and ocean. Activities such as surfing can be conducted
Awesome beach. It doesnt have proper entrance. It will have multiple small entries to the beach. It is a long beach which connects paje and jambiani
A real paradise,nice beach,food and nice people.
My favorite beach and village in Zanzibar. the only unspoiled place. with a good balance of authenticity, leisure and comfort of arrival. you can find accommodation for all tastes, from luxury villas to overnight stays with locals. the village seems to be falling apart, but it retains its charm. ten-year-old plaster, mid-century cedars, local urozhio soup, palm trees, snow-white sand, several discos, bars, restaurants. my favorite restaurant is “chez hasan”, “teddy on the beach” and “kimte”. there is also a unique opportunity to see locals farming in the ocean at low tide.
Best beach in Zanzibar.
Very lovely and clean beach. But the local sellers are annoying
Much calmer than paje
Not many tourist…. Heaven on earth!
My favourite place
Good beach for activities close to Paje
Nice
Clean and weather is so good
I liked the place and the multiracial atmosphere I found there
My favourite beach in Zanzibar

The paradise
Beautifull beach

Amazing
A beautiful, long, wide beach, more for walking, admiring the sunrise than for swimming, because it is shallow far into the ocean. But at the ebb, you can watch the local women working on small algae plantations. Or to fishermen in their traditional tree-trunk boats. Little tourists, some sellers of traditional souvenirs. Lots of rather average quality restaurants.
A wide and long beach :) Nice light sand, but you can often find pieces of glass, so be careful :) After the outflow, the sand draws in and makes walking difficult, but is it a minus ?;) However, the views along the beach are beautiful :)) During low tides the water goes away far from the shore :) The only drawback is the large number of sellers of gifts;)
Magnificent beach with warm, turquoise waters.Hello I offer you khamiisse and hassan as a French-speaking guide he is located on jambiani, speaks good French and he offered us for example a catamaran excursion for 2 hours with snorkel mask and fins included for two people for around twenty euros ( there were only two of us on the ⛵).+255 626 615 403 its watsap number
One of the most amazing beaches in Zanzibar. Long coastline, quiet, calm beach. The wonderful turquoise color of the water and the dazzling whiteness of the sand are dazzling. The sand is as soft as powder or flour. At low tide, the view of the ocean, which stretches for miles, is quite fantastic. It fascinates me.❤
Jambiani beach is really beautiful. You can watch the ebb and flow of the tide, you can swim nicely and at low tide you can walk for kilometers into the sea. Unfortunately yesterday (July 13th, 21st) we watched the beach vendors dispose of their rubbish. They just shook a full sack of plastic and rubbish into the sea. And we were insulted loudly when we only said that you dont do that. Dreadful.
Quiet beach...a lot of seaweed. there are better
It is a beautiful long beach. The sand is beautifully white and is one of the finest sand in Zanzibar. However, the sea is not clear, so when snorkeling you can see almost nothing and often algae appear in it, which, of course, does not affect. On Zanzibar, there are generally large low tides that one has to reckon with. But for me, the beach is definitely worth a visit and a walk.
Super beach, beach life starts before sunset
One of the most beautiful beaches!
The beach is very nice. Long and wide. Perfectly white sand. However, there are often seaweed and algae on the sand. Additionally, if someone counts on observations of marine life, there is not much to observe here. Due to the ebb and flow of the tide, the line changes its position by about 200 meters. Its hard to go this far out into the ocean (without a boat) to see anything. Also at low tide, the ocean is very far away, and its also hard to get to. There is a lot of sea urchins in very shallow puddles. To sum up, sunbathing itself is great. Possibly for childrens baths. If you want to go swimming at any time of the day or watch something underwater, its a different beach.
Gorgeous. Go there at low tide!
The most beautiful beach Ive ever been to
Nice beach, very few people. The downside is that there are few cafes, it is difficult to find anything nearby.
Calm beach. A paradise!
No way to swim !! Too much algae
Restaurants are delicious
A dream at low tide!
Nice place
My favorite island, watch out for stingrays, I was attacked by one and spoiled my vacation.
