We got back to Ghana about ten days ago after a couple glorious weeks in Tanzania. It was the end of the rainy season there, so not always easy getting around in the Serengeti, but the guides are expert drivers. We saw every imaginable animal but wildebeest–as you know, the herds hadn’t migrated up from Tanzania yet. From there, spent a couple days, then on to Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. (I had an interesting experience in Dar–remind me to tell you about when I get back.) Zanzibar and Breezes were really nice. The eastern side of the island, which had been totally undeveloped when I last visited 20 years ago, is different now. We took a day trip down to Stone Town, the old part of Zanzibar, and vowed that next time (hopefully, someday…) we’d spend a few days there first. We did a 7 day Safari visiting Tarangire NP, Manyara NP, Ngorongoro & Serengeti NP. Everything was fully arranged from day 1. The pick up from the airport was on time and our Driver picked us up at the hotel right in time the day after. Then our adventure started.. Beside the enormous beauty of this country and the fully filled national parks we were so blessed to do the trip with our guide MICHAEL. We really had a lot of questions about Flora & fauna, landscape, culture, food, etc. and he could answer us everything. His knowledge is really good and you can really feel that he loves his country and has a very good knowledge about. Every day was an adventure. Together we spotted all the interesting animals and the BIG FIVE. We did a cultural visit to the Massai and even a cultural tour to Mto Wa Mbu. For me it felt like the people were extra friendly to us because of the friendliness of Michael. We laughed, we sang and we really had a good time with our friend :)The lodges were incredible accomodate and fully equipped. We liked most the Sangaiwe Lodge and the Tortilis Camp. Food and accomodation was very good in every lodge. Also lunch packages were good.Everything was wonderful and incredible. My husband and I booked a 6 day/5 night safari with Zepisa African safaris and had an amazing time. Nyemo was very responsive to all our inquiries and worked with us to create the itinerary we wanted. We did one day in Tarangire NP, three days in the Serengeti (one day in the north and two in central), and one day at Ngorongoro, with the final day a drive back to the airport (and on to Zanzibar). On the day we arrived in Tanzania, we met with Nyemo and our guide Nurdin to go over the itinerary. Nurdin was an amazing guide - his knowledge, kindness, humor, and skill were endless. We saw every animal I had hoped to see and more, and I couldnt believe how close we were to them. Zepisa African Safaris also helped us to arrange our hotel in Zanzibar as well as transfers between the airport. Would definitely book with them again!

We have had a wonderful experience during our recent safari to Tanzania with Zepisa African safaris. We found our guide Nyemo amazing because he was knowledgeable and very experienced in guiding around the parks. He guided us well sharing a lot about Tanzania culture, history, animals, birds and general life.The parks were beautiful, teeming with animals that we do not have back in Ireland, beautiful scenery of Ruaha National park.We had very great accommodations that were luxurious yet we had booked a mid-range package.Special thanks to Nyemo for guiding us wonderfully and I recommend this company fully

Nyemo at Zepisa African Safaris organized an amazing Ruaha experience for me. My travel dates were very specific, and with patience, good humor, a lot of flexibility, and many emails – he always responded immediately – Nyemo created a travel package that I could never have managed on my own - or even dreamt of. There were a lot of moving parts as I went from one bush camp to another by land (safari jeep), and although there were so many opportunities for something to go wrong, all transfers from one mode of travel, camp or guide to another went like clockwork. The guides were excellent and the bush camp experiences unforgettable. I marvel at how seamlessly Nyemo organized this trip of a lifetime. I cannot praise such customer service highly enough. We had an amazing adventure in Tanzania with Zepisa African Safaris. Six of us, friends, decided for classic route camping safari in Tanzania. We asked 4 different companies for the quotes, and then decided for Zepisa African safaris. Also inquired for shuttle from Nairobi to Arusha which Nyemo was happy to arrange for us. All in all, communication before the trip was in good quality, although we dont feel being complicated customers either :).5 days itinerary included Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and it was fully completed with Zepisa African SafarisOur guide and driver Usher is a great and knowledgeable guy, always in time, easy to communicate, and also good learner - managed to pick up some foreign words and even sing with us!Understandably, while camping and on the tight budget, we were not looking for gourmet experience, more like simple and filling food to keep us going. Frank care of that, and we never left the tables hungry.All in all, I will recommend Zepisa African safaris to my friends in case they decide for the vacations in Tanzania.All the best, keep going.

The communication with Nyemo the owner was good in advance (sometimes he did not answer very fast, but all in all he came back to all our questions and we had the feeling that he is taking care of our needs).Our driver and guide in Tanzania - Michael- was very kind and we where totally happy with the Safari he did with us. Sometimes we had the feeling that it is not possible to do the trip excatly how it was promised before, because there are restrictions regarding the time you are allowed to stay in each national park so our guide had to change the program a little bit in order to make us see all the national parks that have been promised. But he did a great job to make us happy and in the end there there is nothing we could complain about, anyway.Thank you Nyemo and thank you Michal for this special experience!

We had a really remarkable time in Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything went very smoothly. We were so pleased with Nyemo arrangements and, once we arrived, both Trevor and James took great care of us. It was a very good trip! Great guide (Nyemo), he did an excellent job! It all worked perfectly in terms of timing, logistics, service etc. Northern parks is perfect for 5-7 days safaris, with very good animal spotting opportunities and great settings (can compare with 7 other safaris, in four different countries)

Extremely good service! We had two Nyemo, and usher, and they made such an effort to make us enjoy the whole trip. With solid knowledge about the animals, they managed to show us some of the amazing animals and the nature that this country has to offer. We can recommend their service strongly!

I was booking a Tanzanian trip for my parents and their friend and wanted to make them experience something more than just super main stream activities. At the time my parents took the trip it was june 2018, so Zepisa African Safari wasnt established yet, but it happened I meet Nurdin, who was just starting a brand new company for safari tours. Even though there were no references at that time, after speaking in first person with him and planning every detail I decided to fully trust him and no decision could have been more appropriate. Nurdin took my parents not only to Ruaha but also to some other attractions around Iringa. My concern was about language because my parents did not speak english nor swahili, but with Nurdin and his experience with foreigners and languages was not that difficult for them to communicate. I would reccomend it, as well as I would reccomend to include some cultural visit (Maasai village) coming from/going to Ruaha.

We took a private family tour carefully planned by our journey designer Nyemo. where hes taken into account all our requests and exceptions. Hes been pivotal in designing the right route, what to see, what to expect for a family of safari seekers at the elementary level. This is quite critical sincewhat you see is assessed by what you expected in the first place. Moreover, if you are not part of a standard tour, be it a private or a group tour, chances are youd be forgotten and ignored. However that was not the case for us...thanks to NyemoI strongly recommend for anyone who wishes a boutique safari experience to have a word with Nyemo prior to doing anything upfront.He is the one.
