Quite a nice place, got nice environment with friendly stuff. Its amazing some how..but its kind of slower when you order a food..took a long time to prepared for the order.But there food taste good.They offered service like accommodation and offering kiswahili language lessons. Apart from restaurant.Such a peaceful place for learning and relaxing and enjoying.Its near river RUAHA also

The campsite is in a beautiful spot next to the Little Ruaha River. We were looking forward to sit down with a cold wine after the exhausting trip. That was not to be as clearly the season hadn’t really started for them, even diner was ordered in from Iringa town. With nothing much else to do we decided to have a warm shower and an early night. But our Cabin was perfect, warm and clean!

Calming environment with great river view.

I spent two months here in 2010 while learning kiSwahili before going to Dar for an internship. The family who own(ed) the property were incredible and accommodating hosts. I can’t wait to return and go on some of the old walks I used to love so much.

Wonderfull green place with someting for everyone, enjoyable camping with little bandas for shower and toilet, nice cottages as well. It us spacious and you can walk oast the river.Also a great place for a picknick. Friendly staff and most of all wonderfull food, this cook is amazing.

Very nice campsite. 3 large shady areas near the river. Very helpful and friendly supervisor, Jonathan, who gives good advices on walks around. 10$pp

Pure wilderness experience

Its a very nice and calm place. The rooms are clean and the service was good. Every now and then there were campers coming and going and its a good opportunity to meet new people.However, the place is pretty expensive and is apparently running low on resources. During the stay we had a couple of stomaches, I would not recommend to eat there long term.Otherwise you can take nice walks thete, take a bus to the town and the personnel is welcoming and can show you around as well.

I stayed at Rivervalley Campsite January 2012. It was a really nice and relaxing place to be. People were really nice and they had an awesome dog there who became my best friend! The lady running it was cool, she helped me find some people to share an overnight safari trip to Ruaha. All in all a cool experience.

A good quiet place located at the river bank. But closed for a while due to the undergoing maintenance

Very nice place. The monkeys came directly to the campsite, but this is fortunately fenced.
