Amazing setting on the riverside. Perfect spot for a long journey break and overnight stay. Great food value for money. All round pleasant experience.

Stopped here a couple of times, pitched a tent and slept under the stars. Saw elephants in the river and monkeys on the riverbanks. Great, tranquil spot in the wilderness.

Very friendly staff and owner. Great stop over for a rest of you passing through. Food also good. Sad to see it so quiet because of the travel restrictions. Hope to see this place busy again soon!

Nice place to stay and relax. They have an amazing view of the river with nice sunset. Good service and friendly staff. Amazing food!! They offer a couple of activities, we did the walking safari. However it was more like a hike as we weren’t lucky enough to see any animals during the 4 hour trip. We expected more information from the guides during the hike. If we’d been told this on advance it would have been better.Overall good place to relax and spend a night, but don’t expect the amount of animals you would see on a safari.

This place is amazingly calm. Its in the middle of the countryside, but still very green because of the river right next to it. We slept in the bungalow with a great river panoramaview on our terrace. The inside was clean and spacious.Breakfast was served with a variety of seasonal fruits, africafe, chai, fresh milk, omelette, selfmade white bread, juice, cheese and chapati.A very friendly and hospitable boss who made us laugh a lot. She also makes a very good chapati, pizza mozzarella, pilaw and Bolognese.Another bonus about this place is the transportation by bus from dar es salaam with the hotel staff ready to pick you up when you get off at mikumi station.Salaam

The hostess Jenifa is great, she has built this camp together with her German friend Frank, in the bush, out of nowhere. She cooks very well and takes care of her customers with love. The camp itself, located along a river full of crocodiles, is also visited by many monkeys and iguanas. Definitely worth spending a few days here.Here you can get the chance to get to know the real Africa, not the touristy and away from the parks .. certainly an experience, for young and old, not to be missed.We are happy for you that you did it, Tanzania does not always make it easy TIA xxx
