If you can avoid this network as a foreigner, do it and keep a wide berth. Among the telecoms here it is the absolute worst in customer care service. Not only do their employees blatantly lie about fixing issues but when their own system is failing, they refuse to acknowledge it. Until i involved a lawyer to deal with the situation did they become serious enough to deal with the problem caused by their own incompetence.Never again in my life.

A very wonderful area since I am the Airtel mobile network brand user, I can compliment the headquarters offices has standard services and tremendous treatments. They are some customer carers who does a bitter work and hinder the image of Airtel this should be supervised by higher authorities frequently to eradicate such behaviours.

I visited for Customer care services...I advice, Airtel should increase the number of the customer services staff to be able to save enough number of clients in a shorter time;as of now, you might end up using more than an hour and a half for something that wont even take 10 minutes solving.

Awesome place customer service

Poor customer service, Airtel should monitor their employees and not just let them do what ever they want or wish to do. Most of the employees never cares about how to treat clients, they dont respond well. There is high need of supervisor who will supervise employees and make sure that they always perform their duties in a right way.

They have a DTB cash machine here, great! This area is called Morrocco near Kinondoni. It’s not far from Mikocheni and Shoppers plaza. There is parking once you can get passed the security guy and barrier. Outside there is no parking and it can get very busy with traffic jams, which could make a really quick journey turn into half an hour or more. Sometimes it’s just best to stop the taxi as close as possible and then walk the rest of the way. It’s right next to the Airtel building.

I have been a customer of three telecom companies in Tanzania and by far airtel has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE Id call and wait for over 10 minutes to speak yo an operator and all they say is will work on your issue but do nothing, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT OF 4G as speeds are barely 3G.Overall worst telecom compay in Tanzania

Extremely disappointing experience with airtel money. I was travelling hence I sent money from my bank account to airtel money .my bank sent me confirmation that amount was sent and deducted from account but I never received money in my airtel account I was stranded with no cash when I called airtel they told me to call my bank .when I called my bank they said they have sent to airtel and my account was deducted.. since it was Friday imajine I had no cash and my bank tells me reversal until Monday. And airtel never apologies and just cut off connection with me ...so who is to be blamed in this case the bank which sent me confirmation or airtel which didnt help me or never received message from them ..... I will never transfer money from bank to airtel its better go to your bank atm and withdraw cash when travelling.....

Nice telecommunication company, it provide best mobile bundle ever compare to other companies. I like that. And they have wide coverage of network all over the Tanzania. But the big problem internet service is very poor, very slow speed and they have few Airtel money agents. Please fix issue of speed of internet and I can issue you . To get many royal customers.

You can get good customer service here,You can get your new sim card, setup your internet, register for mobile banking and exclusive offers for university students bundles (easy). The coverage is not that great in some areas hope they fix it soon

Poor and unstable internet service. Download speed spike from 12 mins remaining up to 70 hours once they decide to slow your internet.I also noticed they cancel a bundle around 2to 5 mins before its legitimate end. Infuriating service.

I congratulate Airtel for having experts among the staff to correct the catastrophic errors. Thank you very much Mr. Tassama, he is an expert I had a problem, my airtel number 0684xxxx80 with full registration (photo, pasport) lost Airtel Money function because some stranger (thief) started using it - my secure (!!!!!) electronic wallet, thats incredible ...I was first at Airtel at Samora street, where they told me I had to visit a lawyer (and not for free !!) to get it right. Then, after a week without using of my Airtel Wallet, I was in a bad mood to visit the Customer Center in downtown at the Marocco Terminal.Mr. Tassama there was on duty. Within minutes he kicked out that stranger and restored my Airtel Money and my faded 5 year old loyal trust in Airtel services. MG

You do have 4g but the speed is not faster as we were expected we work as if we are using 3g and more you just deduct more mb than the speed of the Internet.

SIM card sales people are kind of rude and uninformed. They have a huge building but Sim card sales are put into a hot, gross little semi truck trailer outside the main building. However they did get things working after an hour of trying so the end result was positive not negative. Just kind of irritating to get results. Not what I expect from the Headquarters office.

This is to show disappointment with the manner my complaint to have my money reversed to my airtel money after the system failed to send to a Tigo line have been handled fruitlessly. Its four months down the line since I launched my complaint with the customer care agents until I found no assistance that I had to seek further help from the area managers. Its been the same song day in day out, week in week out, month in month out.........and I have ran out of patience.

Terrible customer care as there are no rules and regulations and a consumer authority which can check what is being done. I have had plenty of sim cards and roaming charges are huge and wrong even though they tell you that they have a AIRTEL ONE network which actually does not work once out of Tanzania. The only thing they care about is collecting their own money without caring about customers. They think that just because they are called Airtel they are always right but it is not true. The only advantage they have is coverage which is actually quite good. For pre paid lines its fine (as you are controlling the amount of money going into their accounts), just forget it about postpaid..
