The best tender meat in dar. I highly recommend their Mandi rice. Their choice of Somali and Arabic cuisine is exemplary too. Delicious food.

The mandi is out of this world! It is served with accompaniment like onions, tomato and meat stock. The rice and goat meat is cooked to perfection. The was soft, fluffy and you count each grain by hand. I’m not a big eater and I finished the whole plate! (The portion is extremely big, enough for two actually but you won’t to share he he). This is what every establishment that serves authentic Mandi should be compared to. You can’t go wrong dining at Arafat.

I am an Arab from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Visiting Dar es Salaam, have tried few Mandi restaurants. I say in all truth, Arafat Mandi is as good as the Mandi in Dubai or Saudi Arabia.Well done guys and good luck.I’ll visit you every time I visit Dar Es Salaam.

A great place for Arabic cuisine, offers normal seats and Arabic carpet for a more cultural feel. Food is plentiful and I can bet you will get full on one saving. Despite that its quite tastey and welcoming. The staff are also very friendly. Its a good place to have your breakfast, lunch or early dinner if you are in Kariakoo

The place is simple but the dishes r good. I especial enjoyed the Goat and Chicken mandi...(a rice & meat mixture served on a wide plate) supposedly for one but the serving is really enof for two pax... ;-)
