I liked it so much I went back twice. The place is cool, full of lovely artwork and curios, the food is lovely but most of all I enjoyed chatting with Casper the charismatic owner. He’s a softly spoken world traveler with many stories and a twinkle in his eye. Highly recommended.

Chill vibes, cozy rustic ambience, dope art & some of the best food in town. Dont let the location fool you... This is a definite gem for all foodies, check it out if you havent. The prices are reasonable & their staff are very friendly/helpful

305 Karafuu is a really nice restaurant. I normally go for Steak Royale here and Apple Pie. The decor is beautiful and they put a Tanzanian twist on international cuisine with some local dishes as well. I love the Fishermans soup as well. I hope they consider opening a branch in Masaki/Oyster Bay as this location is hard to find if you have never been before.

Magnificent food. The lamb shank came right off the bone. The sauces and vegetables are well spiced and the proprietor is a very nice gentleman.My only wish is if they also worked during the day time.The location is deceptive as it doesnt feel like the sort of place youd find both value for money and a great little spot like this but it delivers on so many levels.Highly recommend this 👌

The staff is friendly. Its a good place to spend an evening with friends.But 2 times my steaks were an undefined cut of beef meat, fried... but not really what you expect from a steak. I may go back but not ordering steak again.

Was very excited to visit this place at the end of our vacations, specially after reading the (personal) story of the place at the website and checking the menu. The quality of the meat was actually pretty food so it is kind of a pity that a number of things did not match it:The place was rather empty and the guy whom was serving (we think it is the owner) announced he was really tired because of the previous day. It did not really match the passion that was portrayed on the website. Note the place only opens between 18 pm and 12 am. Maybe consider hiring staff?It was terribly warm inside the restaurant - close to unbearable - very difficult to enjoy food in this way.The dishes that were ordered were served in the differently from what described in the menu. e.g. I ordered meat medallions in red wine and mushroom sauce and got mushrooms in cream sauce instead.The fries were frozen, needless to say this is not OK for a place that wants to serve high quality food.Drinks were not cold.

Really I’d say the best restaurant in town, very understated location and vibe which is always a nice touch. Very good menu nice mix of local and international dishes with a nice wine selection to add. The service is also very good the owner and host really gets how to make guests feel cozy and well taken care of. Always recommend this place to any new comers in town.

Ok location, good food, great decor, wonderful owner, rude staff.Located 200m off Kawawa road on a street that looks more dodgy than it is (fine to park up and down the road). Very helpful owner answers phone for directions and will even come out to get you. Restaurant is built into a converted yard space with wood panelled walls holding themed art pieces.Owner is very personable, but one of the waiters seems quite dismissive and disinterested.Food does not take too long and is well-prepared.and tasty, especially the dessert choice.

Well... i read a lot of good reviews and we decided to go with some friends. The food took ages to arrive, and privce vs portion- the price was too high for what we reveived. Plus the staff seemed a bit disorganised, forgetting this and that, considering it wasnt too full.

I was a bit skeptical at first in knowing the location but when I read the reviews I thought it would be worth the try. But I got lost trying to find the place and almost gave up. But Im so glad I didn’t! Such good food and atmosphere. Loved decor! Such quality is usually expected in the uptown area of the city but Im glad this restaurant is exactly where it it!

Recommended by a friend. The ambiance was nice, but an extremely rude management made my party of five turn around and go to a different restaurant. The rude manager probably thought he would get away with his behavior. In this world of online reviews, inexcusable behavior never goes unnoticed.

By far one of the best restaurant in town. The meat is out of this world, decor and ambiance transports you outside of Tanzania, and the hospitality and attention to detail makes you feel as if a family member is taking care of you.Keep it up!

305 Karafuu is cosy and warm, I loved the atmosphere and select paintings scattered along the walls. The food was delicious, and proportions were almost too healthy of a serving...all in all, I cant wait to go back...
