I would have rated this park as the best National Park in Tanzania due to its vast untapped natural beauty, but well no migration here hence Serengeti still wins. This Park has missed a lot of airspace in terms of marketing, a few now of it, but my visits into this park has listed it as a must visit National Park in Tanzania, and you should include it in your bucket list.It has been holding the place as the largest park in Tanzania, but with introduction of Nyerere National Park, Ruaha National Park has lost that title.

Ruaha is the best National Park in Southern circuit of Tanzania, it has large population of lions almost 10% of all lions Worldwide are found in Ruaha national Park, it has so many attractions lots of animals larger herds of elephants and Buffalo, good views, landscapes, nature and workers in the park roads are also friendly especially for safari vehicles 4×4

Very nice national park but way to expensive. I would recommend going to South Africas Kruger National park rather than Tanzanias parks. You dont get value for your money like you would in South Africa.

Definitely recommend Ruaha if youre wanting to see beautiful African scenery and animals. We got to see a huge herd of cape buffalo but the highlight was seeing 21 lions! The cottages we stayed at in the park werent exotic but they worked well. The staff at the cottage restaurant we so kind and friendly and the food was delicious.

I had unforgettable experiences from my last 2 visits in Ruaha. From the sunrise and sunset scenes, animals spotting along the Ruaha river and so many more exciting moments there, I recommend this park to all natural lovers, and most importantly the nature photographers.

Ruaha National Park is an Unforgettable Experience.Presence of The Three Giant at Ruaha NP including Baobab trees, African Elephants and Pride of Lions make it to be very unique National Park in Tanzania. Its the only National Park in Tanzania having both Northern Vegetation consisting of Savanna Accacia trees and Southern Vegetation made up with Miombo.

Ruaha National Park is a national park in Tanzania. The addition of the Usangu Game Reserve and other important wetlands to the park in 2008 increased its size to about 20,226 km2 (7,809 sq mi), making it the largest protected area in Tanzania and East AfricaThe name of the park is derived from the Great Ruaha River, which flows along its southeastern margin and is the focus for game-viewing. The park can be reached by car on a dirt road from Iringa and there are two airstrips – Msembe airstrip at Msembe (park headquarters), and Jongomeru Airstrip, near the Jongomeru Ranger Post
