Clean and nice place to stay.

Situated in kisutu , very narrow lanes but is one of the main area in Dar es salaam. Some rooms smell foul. U have many restaurants and market near by. Some people will not like the rush and traffic once u step outside hotel.

Great service, clean and spacious rooms, fantastic and very accommodating staff absolutely delicious breakfast. The very friendly service and management team made my stay in Dar much more comfortable. I arrived early, before check in without notice and they were accommodating despite that it was my fault. Would stay again and 100% recommend it to visitors. Location is in city center so its close to food.

This is Indian hotel with Indian food availability.

Its well situated in town & fine if on a budget. The customer care is okeyish, (they seem to serve their regulars with more enthusiasm- cant blame them, business has been tough), have no mosquitoes nets & only spray your room with repellent upon request (which you must do if you dont want those guerilla mosquitoes launching WW111 on you) & the food could be better served. They have very good showers & the air con is excellent

I spent 10 days here waiting for my flight back to the UK four years ago after cycling from Lusaka.The roof top bar is great, the food very Indian and generally I was very well looked after. One big plus was they had their own generator so air-con was on all the time.

Very conveniently located and easy access to markets and transport hub. Spacious rooms and a bargain for the price charged. Shouldnt expect luxury, but certainly not spartan either. Situated amongst the indian diaspora in dar es salam.

One of my favorite places to chill around sunsets after a long day.The restaurant at the top floor brings a memorable dining experience.You can see the city skyline.The food is pretty decent but the price to be paid for it is a little more expensive.

Well its a nice place to be with somehow good stuff but seriously they should improve their room, some other rooms lack a table for personal work and my room lacks door lock for toilet..... Actually i dont recommend this hotel

This use to be a great hotel! I use to have my spot at the coffee shop which was the best! Today i got kicked out of the coffee shop and they didnt have wifi to provide the new management in the hotel is really poor and i wont reccomend anyone to go

Great personal and real indian food. Dar es Salam in it self is not very cousy, but the staff at Saphire hotel will male you feel as at hoke.PS: If you are not in to indian food, breakfast might not be of your pleasing.

(2014) We only stayed there during a short night. The room, airco and beds were ok. The only downside for us was the fact that the bar already closed so it was impossible to celebrate our first night in Tanzania...(*=bad / **=reasonable / ***=nice / ****=almost perfect / *****=perfect)

My name is Abdulhussein Adamji. I had an amazing stay. Very friendly staff and is located in the city centre which made me spend very little money on transportation when i wanted to go shopping. Also the bar at the roof top gives an amazing view. Would love to stay there again next time i visit Daresalaam.

The rooms are huge but lacks the modernization. seems to be old fashioned. The rates seems to be high compare to the facilities and room ambience. Its really nice and advantageous for Indians to stay here.
