Built in 1927 for the soldier who fought the world war one to serve the european sde while by that tme Tanganyika was under German side fought against British side as enemy of Germany hence after world war one end up Tanganyika taken and being under British while in indirect colonialism ..that Askari Monument was built by James Alexander Stevenson a british Artist also known as Myrander.
