I was to receive my parcel from Fedex before 10th jan. But my tracking says the parcel was in Dar for 5 days. This is bad and reading reviews from other people really upsets me. I call them since yesterday over 10 calls but no one answers. Please I need my parcel. And if there is anyone who wishes to give me the local numbers for someone I can call please help. So far so good I will never use Fedex again.
I recieved my order yesterday. These guys are too much organized, accurate and realistic. I recommend them for others and I will use thier services in my up coming orders.Thank you!
Do Not use Fedex Tz, I repeat Do Not Use it unless you want to be over charged for no reasons and have your package delivery delayedfirst off, they never picked phone calls, no matter how many times you try calling, they have ridiculous hidden fees and charges, I do not recommend Fedex Tanzania, use DHL instead
This is the worst company I have ever encountered. I have tried calling the office for 6 days now but nobody answers. Often they will be on another call and even if you call back immediately they do not pick up. My package is stuck with them for 3 weeks now and there is no way to communicate with them. Fedex please find another agent in Tanzania. If this was the US you would have been sued by now!
The people complimenting fedex are probably working at fedex,I recommend people to never use this local agents or fedex or whatever they are called.I hope fedex invokes the license of the local agents in Tanzania,,they are lazy,never pick up calls,never cooperative.My parcel hasnt been retrieved by me for 4 weeks and nothing is heard or being informed by them when i try to call....please dont use them if you want to your package quickly and want better service.The people complimenting them on reviews work with them fedex are the worst,as i am still waiting for my package from them which is to be delivered to a client 2 weeks ago.I repeat use DHL instead they are the worst.Since i dont get any response from fedex i am planning to go to the airport by myself...I INSIST DONT USE THEM THEY WILL DISSAPOINT YOU DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU
Probably the worst company to receive package with unncessary charges you pay alot than your package value and poor customer service your package will take longer that the shipping time from the original destination
I received my package today im very glad it was safe and sound . But yes there are a lot of unessecary bill payments . And poor services . I wouldnt recommend this service to any one .
So Far, I had a good experience here. Though, I could find it at first as my map took me on the oppsote block but was my mistake.Needless to say, a phone call with ome of their personnel went well, he actually explained how to reach there, you can only see the sign from the road but after that only gates with no sign on.May be they will work on it eventually. However, they do not accept Amex, but if you have VISA or the laternative they might accept. Cash will do.I guess they should change their receiption mode of payment to atleast remove AMEX as accepted cards.Other than that, more details on flat rate on parcel should be added either on brouchers or website.
FedEx does not have an office in Tanzania so all their shipments are handled by Faris (local agent).I ordered something valued at $14 with express shipping but on arrival in Tanzania, this company wanted 118,000 shs clearance charges + shs 29,500 handling charges. In comparison, clearance charges for DHL is shs 12,500 while POSTA charges around 6,000. The item was below TRA value so was not taxed. These charges are all taken by Faris!If you want to clear on your own, they ask you to pay 88,500 just to release the documents.My express item reached me almost after a month instead of the normal 7-10 days. And they never, ever pick their phones so you ar stuck for long periods of time.Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone in Tanzania from using FedEx or TNT (also handled by Faris). Use DHL for peace of mind!

I dont even want to give them 1 star, just giving 1 star to post my review, worst service, people never try to contact the customer and they ask customers to go to them to collect the parcels, they kept my parcel for 6 days never contacted me and i had to go to pick it up.
I just wish they could be comprehensive from the beginning. And work on their customer service. I am just glad i got my package tho I received it opened already (they took away my unboxing experience). Never the less, i aint coming back.
FedEx is not smart enough, the parcel can delay for more than a week and they are happy enough with their business, this is not acceptable
I had the worst experience with this company! The have alot of fake charges and they create a room for their Clearance agents to earn money. Poor customer care and lots of delays. There is no reason to use this company if your have an urgent shipment in Tanzania. I have tried DHL and its better.I regret using your service and I really hate you!
So I tracked my package to Dar, and when I used Google maps to find the place, I stumbled upon all of these horrible reviews! I was so worried because I was out of time and needed what was in the package immediately. They didnt answer the phone, or it was busy, so that had me even more worried about my package. So I went down there. Already getting a bit upset because I thought for sure this was going to be a hassle. Decided though to calm my nerves, and kill them with kindness. Received my package in 5 min, no fees. I think alot of people here inTZ go into businesses and start bossing people around or talking down to them for whatever reasons you may have. But this goes to show you that being humble, and kind to another person goes a long way. Thank you Faris Express. Great job.
As a frequent importer into Tanzania, I have come across and used the services of various couriers and freight forwarders and I can say with clear and utter confidence that this so called “company” is the worst courier company operating in Tanzania by a mile. Complete lack of professionalism, lack of urgency, and total disregard for their PAYING customers. I have never had such a negative experience with a courier and I probably never will experience worse. Stay away at all costs if you know what is good for you.
DO NOT USE FEDEX TANZANIA. Whatever you do, avoid this company like the plague. I deeply regret ordering products via Fedex. It was a hellish situation getting my parcel from this company. They do not adhere to Fedexs international standards that you would expect from Fedex in the UK or the USA.The Mikocheni branch is apathentic and could not care less about if people get their cargo. There is an employee called Neema. Watch out for her and ask for someone else. She is very slow, pretends to not understand requests then she tries to guilt trip you when you are following up on your parcel by saying how other clients have been waiting for weeks as if you have no right to your parcel that should take 3 days to deliver.The branch of the company at the Airport is trying but they are not getting support at all from the main office.AVOID FEDEX TANZANIA! Dont bother wasting your time. This company is a total waste of time. Pathentic customer service, period.

Package arrived on the 7th at their office and on the 10th we get notified from the US. On the 11th at their office and they cant find the package... I will not use FedEx again for package delivery and definitely not Faris Express. 4 other guys in the office at the same time with similar issues.
We have had a small package delayed by FedEx for over 7 weeks now! During regular follow-ups, FedEx blamed TRA for the delays, which is funny as we have never had TRA cause delays when shipping through DHL or other companies. Almost makes you think the issue has nothing to do with TRA, and is entirely caused by poor organization and management at FedEx!The customer service e-mail on their website does not work, nor does the feedback form. The FedEx office hardly ever answers calls and when they do they make empty promises. What an absolute mess!
The worst bunch of people I’ve ever dealt with. My parcel got delayed for over two months only to realise that they were sending it by bus while I paid express. They hardly receive any calls and when they do they keep bouncing you from one person to another. They should not even be allowed to operate at all.

Clearance will take forever. You will have to go to the office in person because phone is either busy or they dont answer. I imported something with DHL just two weeks earlier and process was quick and painless with DHL proactively contacting me by phone and quickly clearing the good.

My small package of less than 1 kg has been in the hands of FARIS EXPRESS (for FEDEX) in Dar es Salaam since 15 days...High Clearance Fees have been paid 13 days ago, as well as various Custom’s Duties 5 days ago..So far none of this shows on the webpage, and also no info is available on when I may collect my small package.Apart from a very nice person at the reception desk, who answers questions and communicates over WhatsApp, as far as he can (and who would deserve 3 stars),FARIS “express” has absolutely lousy customer service and I would rate it zero stars if I could..Does this service company even know what EXPRESS means?? ..or what CUSTOMER SERVICE means..never again FEDEX to Dar as long as they use FARIS express!!

I sent a package through Fedex and as you all know Fedex is big company so when they say expected delivery on such and such day take their words for it but this agent didn’t not clear the package from custom on time after it got to Tz they asked for custom fee even if you custom fee you won’t get your stuff on a timely manner they need to be reported 2)they have phone number listed that never work when you call .they need to be reported to Fedex and never ever be an authorized Agent for such a big company since they can’t do their job right or operate on international Level
