Came here for the Christmas night market and there were maybe ~10 vendors. Goods were nice and I ended up staying for the jazz event. This cafe is doing great work in fostering community for Oyster Bar + beyond. Really lovely evening

Absolutely lovely space. I liked the café-artisan shop-exhibition area combo.One gets a diverse experience visiting the place.Food was really good and fresh. Staff is friendly and the service was superb.The art exhibitions are usually top-notch also and the artisan shop sells handmade products and books. One always finds something nice for the house or to wear.

Cozy and wide environment，they have a big yard for parking and also a exhibition for handicrafts.Cafe latte tastes good，service speed is a bit slow，we waited almost 20mins get our coffe.Too many ants crawling on the table until i left there were still ants on my clothes.

Really nice atmosphere, good drinks and okay food but painstakingly slow kitchen. On three separate occasions it has taken almost an hour from order to serving. Not even complicated orders!! The potential to be one of the best spots in Masaki, but in the process of blowing it.

Theres a feeling of serenity as you enter the place!! The aura and energy of the place,not to mention the kindness of the staff🙌🏾..Ill just say Its definitely worth a visit❤️

Ambiance is nice, food is ok (some things were worth the price), but can’t recommend because it took over 1.5 hours for the food to come out.

Such a good place to meet new charming people and you can bring family and friend to have fun.

Visited The Drum earlier today for Monday Movie Night and absolutely loved the cosy urban Garden atmosphere. Well maintained, simple yet comfortable setting. Service is quite impressive, the waiter were smiling through out and definitely knew how to make you feel welcomed.Drinks are innovative and commendable. Bonus points for the bamboo straws 🙂

Beautiful bamboo, baobob and other plants decoration. Cozy atmosphere. Most of all, many quality exhibition and musical performance by local artists. A hub of hidden talents in Tanzania. My favorite place for years of stay in Dar.

I would totally chill with my book , my laptop or just relax by myself or with friends . Love the different people I meet here on Fridays (stand-up comedy ) thursays live jazz . There is enough space and the food is affordable . The pork ribs and the burger is my thing 😁😊

The cocktails and the space is quite perfect for a nice evening with friends.

The waiter tried to sell me tonic water insisting it had lime in it when I asked for Krest bitter lemon (the Drum did not have that)

Its one of the best places in Dar! It offers am excellent service, good food, beautiful premises and a cozy environment. On top of that, they organize plenty of cultural activities. The Drum is definitely a place to visit.

Great vegan and meat dishes, fresh juices. Lovely and quiet setting with perfect outdoor seating under amazing trees.In the evenings they have events like music and movies.

Food was absolutely one of the best so far in Dar. Unfortunately, the chef (one of the chefs?) was not there. We almost waited an hour to get our food and we were the only guests there... 🙃 we came early because we had read the wait can be long.

Very nice café, nice staff, artists, singers, musicians, stand up comidians, ...

If there were more stars, I would!! Super high spirits environment. Upon entering you have a little shop with beautiful and very expensive local things, there is a Volkswagen Beetle that has its own charm, the service was very good, the Mr was super friendly, there is a Tarot service included in the entrance fee, you pay for nothing more expensive, 20,000 shillings, I ordered a plate with fries and two chicken skewers, it was very well prepared and I drank about 5 mojitos, the DJ played very current songs, kizomba, salsa, a little spanish music and etc, I had a lot of fun with friends, haa and the main thing, I was able to take my little son and he had a lot of fun in a place with sand. Summary it was a night to repeat, I highly recommend this place. Thanks
