Of you are on an extremely tight budget and okay with bundu bashing to the hotel where barefooted reception staff who sleep on the couches in the lobby, forget to send a driver to pick you up from the airport, and then forget to do your wake-up call then this is the perfect place! The television didnt switch on on the first try, so the staff member just took the remote with her and left.However, the hotel is neat and tidy and for a no frills or fuss couple of hours sleep it was fine.

Hotel was ok, staff was very nice. I landed late with my plane and asked for late check-in. When i arrived the receptionist was asleep in the couch waiting for me 🙂 she checked me in and took me to my room. A/C want working but i managed to fall asleep anyway. In the morning i went down and asked for breakfast. She said it wasnt ready yet and that i can go back to my room and they will call me. About 10 minutes later she calls and i went to the restaurant and got some nice local breakfast with strong tea, bananasmoothie, some eggs, noodles and sausages and some toast. So too my conclusion. Hotel want the greatest but the staff made it so much better with their engagement and friendlyness that they showed. Really genuine nice people. Do I recommend? Only if your social needs are bigger than your materialistic needs 😉🙂

Nice, clean, friendly staff. Good hotel for arriving or leaving the country. Breakfast is not impressive, and the road leading to the hotel is a disaster. Shower water is not warm.

I spent over one week at this hotel and enjoyed my stay. What got my attention when I arrived there was the cleanness of the place from the reception to my room. Oh I almost forgot the wonderful services, the delicious food especially the SATO (tilapia) dish! I really wishing I had just one more day to spend there! but good stuff never last!! For all of you visiting DAR ES SALAAM give the BL Hotel, located in Siwa Area (Airporty), a try. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

It was wonderful to be here. They even organised a free transport from the airport to the hotel, and there so welcoming. Beautiful place and neat. Nice air-conditioning. It is quite, so it is good if you really need a quite place.

Its okay for the money paid. WiFi works okay, room are simple but breakfast is not good enough. Clean hotel and nice and helpful staff.

The hotel is near the airport but in a „slum“. They forgot to pick us up at the airport. It’s noisy there the whole night. No towels and soap in the room, problems with the hot water.Only positive was the great and friendly reception team.

Just a few minutes from the Julius nyerere airport , clean bedding, clean rooms, good food and great staff....if you are catching a flight its a stop I would recommend but not a holiday spot.

Room we were checked into was very dirty. Floor was very dusty etc. Poor service.

Farida, the receptionist, was so helpful. Very willing to help, answers my questions and got me a pencil when I needed it! Happiness, the hostess, was always around to provide coffee and water and food. Rooms were clean and bathrooms have working toilets. Stay here!

What an amazing experience. All of the employees were amazing and super helpful. Happiness, Leonila and Farida were always belong is with whatever we needed :). We will be coming back.

Worst experience ever. The floor in the room was so dirty that our feet/socks were black after a couple of minutes. We got another room but this time, there was no warm water. After they tried to fix it for about 40min, we changed room again. This time, AC was not working. Breakfast was below average with only a few choices of which only the fruit seemed eatable. We also used their laundry service which returned the clothes in the morning still quite wet and with small blue color marks on the white clothes. If all this was not enough, the hotel cancelled the stay AFTER our visit to avoid bad feedback on Agoda/Booking. Stay away! The staffs friendliness could not make up for all other bad experiences!

Very nice hotel

Although the road to the hotel has many potholes, youll enjoy the environment in the hotel compound (Great Ambiance). A+ for being very Close to the airport (5 min. drive when there is no traffic). Customer service is average. Price within range for comparable hotels (Ive frequented this hotel many times. Im forced to update my review. For some reason Customer Service has dramatically changed for the worse! It could be familiarity brings contempt thing or the workers are becoming complacent. 2 stars instead of 3 for poor/deteriorating customer service! To be fair, Ill leave my initial review intact so patrons can make informed decisions when looking for a place to sleep)

Arrival ok RAS, room near the hotel. Mediocre value for money. We have priced the meal at the hotel. Half of the card is not available. When they prepare us the things which finally remain, we took the fried chicken, two bones / pieces of chicken are fighting in duel nothing to eat on it and in my opinion it has been annealed or reheated several times in view of the dish. Hoping it wasnt the rest of a dish from a previous customer.Staff not at all accommodating when there is no one in the hotel. Frankly to take when there is nothing left
