Lovely barbecue experience. Food was good taste and value for money. Ambience can be better. Parking a trouble, better get a cab to get there. Menu is wide , host was soft and well spoken.

After their downsize i suppose the maintenance of the place has also gone down, ac had leakage the standard of the place has gone down compared to previous years, food was OK not disappointing.

We ordered indian and were not disappointed! The food was very very delicious, authentic and the portions were really big! They had boxes for take away as well. We would go there again!! P

We returned to this restaurant after two years. Sadly the standard has gone down. First of all, the restaurant has been downsized and feels much smaller. Previously, it was kind of divided into two: the rough and ready section and the rest an air conditioned section with good seating and a reasonable ambiance. But now its just a single bland room.The floor cleanliness was terrible with dead flies and other dirt. A guy was just moping it which made the debris scatter all over.Food preparation and quality has fallen too. The usual chango fish and bbq chicken was bland, not well cooked and lacking in flavour.Clearly there is a new chef on board for whom customer satisfaction probably does not matter.

Good food + Good service. Be sure to ask them for a mix of dishes to share to be able to taste different dishes. There are quieter seating tables inside. Be sure to try their masala dosa.

When I was young we used to come here and order crispy and crunchy chicken which used to be the dish to order when you come to summys..Had a major urge to come to summys and have the cruncy chicken..They have renovated it well and have a big space in the back for customers to relax and have a meal.. also decorated it well.They could improve and slightly increase the portion on the food to get more customersKeep it up

The fish had loads of colour but personally i felt the masala wasnt as tasty as it looked. The mishkaki was very very good.

You get to eat your meal outdoor while enjoying the dar es salaam breeze. Active from 7pm

Great place for butter naan, tandoori chicken and the like! Operating hours are 6 pm onwards so its an ideal place for dinner with the kids!

Street food at its best and that too Charcoal grilled ...Enjoyed my meal under social distancing and MASK wearing environment.Centre of town , walking distance North East West South.Place to visit definitely.Stay safe from C19 by maintaining protocols..

*REASONABLE FOOD, LACKS ATMOSPHERE INSIDE*Surprisingly the service at this restaurant was on point. This is a street side restaurant with inside and on street seating. The food is cooked streatside and you can watch should you choose.We were escorted inside to an area that lacked atmosphere - no music, bright and some broken lights hanging from the ceiling. There was an abundance of flies.The masala Dosa was great, the pani puri was a let down. The bbq skewers and the chinese bhel were fab.

Sorry to write. Didnt enjoy gajjar chicken . Dry . N v asked for more gajar sauce . Lady serving us refused saying not available. Even another ithnashri lady. One of my friends commented same thing. She was near our table . Sorry dont b offended just shared my views. It was our first visit. If chicken gets dry can give extra sauce to pour on chicken pls

This is one of the places that i have always missed after leaving Daressalaam, You just cannot get that deliciously exquisite Summys flavor anywhere else. One of my favorite dishes here are the sekela chicken, the crispy chicken and the beef escalope. You should definitely try these whenever youre here

Ordered chicken escalope, the food was over cooked and after the food was brought the waiter took 45 mins to bring the fork and knife, we returned the food as it was already cold and not edible. The manager was less bothered and ignored our complains. very poor service and poor management, food is average.
