I tried special cuisine crispy prawns，this one is delicious.Others like curry and naan are normal，and they only open in evening，space is wide and cozy

Everything is so good here . The nundu is awesome . This is a restaurant I would go to every week . The fish dishes are great . Great mix of Indian and Swahili food .

This is one of the oldest restaurants in dar & has maintained their food quality very well.They are known for there seafood dishes and the best in Dar es Salaam.Their few veg dishes like Chinese bhel, their daal Makhani, naan, they are really good.This place is usually crowded.Have a decent play area for children.Waiters are polite & quick!

This place is simply amazing , went there last night and had the best meal we have had in dar es Salam so far .We arrived a bit late as they were closing , however the owner still served us and made us feel welcome and not at all rushed .The lobster was a standout and worth going in and of its own

I had been there for the first time and was so exited as had been hearing from people about it but honestly speaking the food was ok but the service was very poor as it takes very long time to get your order. So a suggestions if anyone wants to go there so better go 1 hour before and place your order and yah most important it is damn expensive .

Amazing food but quite expensive. Service is nice but they take almost half an hour to bring the food. The best part is that they have kept a nanny in the playground who keeps an eye on all the kids playing so parents can have their dinner peacefully

BBQ Village has been in existence for a long time now. One can never go wrong with the food here. Albeit these days it seems portions have reduced.Some upgrades are much needed and in terms of crockery and utensils, which would make such a big difference in presentation.

Great food, always lively with a quiet environment. The food tastes great, with a mix of Thai, Indian, Tanzanian and European cuisine, with average prices, its a great choice for a dinner night out. They even do catering services so browny points for that!.

A number of items that we usually order were not available. The steak was tasteless. I ordered a steak sizzler and the sizzler plate wasnt as hot as it should be. Cooled quite quickly. The fries were too crispy.

Very nice BBQ chicken and chicken wings. Definitely on par with the best! The chips can be a little crispier but thats about it. Well done and we will be back soon again in the new year!

They cook nice barbecu but be careful about prices. The prices on the menu are exclusive vat so you may be surprised when you see the bill. Its a bit expensive compare to other places on its class.

A family owned restaurant for the last 20 years or more. A very extensive menu covering vegetation, poultry, seafood options. They are known for their starters which is ideal for sharing purposes (fried shrimp, nundu and crispy crab are my favourite)Their portions are generous but price can be a bit high. Their lobster thermidor and chicken pilipili is yummmy. The sitting is all outdoors and they offer catering services and private party hosting at their top terrace.Something to note - this is a cash only place. Debit/credit card payments are not accepted here.

The dishes offered here are delicious and of wide range (though more inclined to Indian cuisine) - still great for the greater majority of food lovers out there!Prices are not cheap for the average Joe.The overall atmosphere of the place is calm and quiet.There are spots great for couples looking to have some alone time - while maintaining space for privacy coupled with ambient lighting to seal the atmosphere.There are also tables for larger groups (friends & family).The crowd here is mostly composed of whites and of Indian origin.One last thing to be aware of (at least for some) is that with the change you should get after paying the bill, some waitresses here have a tendency to automatically assume it to be their tip - so if you dont ask for change, well, forget it! They have taken it!

Its a must in DAR, the food is great,I went there with friends thrice. & we took different dishes, seafood, grills & tikkas. All are great.If you like the Nundu (Bulls Hump), try it here. I dont like it much, but my friends were crazy about it.A small advice, in the raining season, you better put mosquitos repellent.
