Coastal Aviation is absolute convenience! Take one of their charter flights to the local islands or if you can’t get a direct flight. They include a free shuttle service from Dar Es Salaam international terminal to the domestic terminal. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and I felt safe all the way.
