Rooms are spacious. Toilets are okay, though look more like an afterthought. The rooms definitely need maintenance work (the a/c kinda works, the door knobs are just about hanging in there, some rooms have windows you cant lock, tv cables go through the windows so you cant close them fully, etc), but looking past that my stay was pleasant. The sheets are spotless, the rooms are clean, and the ocean breeze is great. Lots of safe parking space. Value for money, 3/5Food: I ate at the restaurant once, and food was just about okay, thats the best I can say about it. It definitely didnt taste like what I thought it ought to and for the price was not good value for money. Id suggest eating out or ordering barbecue (chicken and octopus were good, but not the beef, very tough). Value for money, 3/5Service: Excellent. The workers are friendly, professional and very helpful at all times. 5/5Theres Access to the beach right there and a swimming pool, so everyone is covered. 5/5I would stay there again.

Its an affordable and beautiful resort.Improvements needed on1. Swimming pool - too dirty especially during holidays , you had a good space , you could have utilised it better and have a bigger rectangular shaped pool instead.2. Food quality - was good, could be better.I have been to this place over 5x and il always go back.

Great place, by the beach. Medium High Speed Internet (4G Probably). Good conference venue that can hold up to 85 people. Elevetor works fine. Good food. Rooms start at 30 USD Equivalent to 60,000 Tanzanian Shillings.Highly reccomend when you visit Bagamoyo.

Nice hotel along the beach. Well equipped conference facilities. Good rooms. Food are delicious and prices are reasonable. This place is good for meetings and workshops of small to large group. It belongs to Roman Catholic. You’ll also find rich history of the beginning of Christian religion. “Msalabani” which means in the cross

This is a good place. Not a five star place like a Serena but a step up from many. The rooms are air-conditioning and large and cleaned each day. The housecleaning staff is not very flexible. Several days I told them to come back and service the room later and they never came. But no big complaints.

Awesome location with beach, bar, church, and super market. It is just next to the historical site where the Christianity entered East Africa. Room is big and comfortable. Staffs are friendly.

Stella maris hotel is very interesting area, with standard rooms, and good canteen. Also is the first hotel in Dar es salaam to have trained staff/ servants on customer care cues,and they real practise it well. I invites other people to visit stella maris hotel.

Its right at the beach with good beach shores actually they are amazing but the hotel has poor services, quality of the rooms its poor, to be frank its a total disappointment, ironically the charges are high has five star hotel.
