First of all I would like to thank Aitor and Gregory for their patience and help in organizing the perfect trip. They give all the facilities and explanations to make the trip to measure.I also want to mention Joseph (our driver) for driving so well and for his eagle eyesight. I usually get dizzy in the car and I had no problems with it.And finally thank Nasch for all the information on animals and finding all the animals you wanted to see. The experience of organizing the safari with Udare (Gregory and Aitor) was very satisfactory. Our 2021 getaway was nothing more and nothing less than to Kenya first (4 days) and to Tanzania later (4 days) during the end of the year. As a biologist, and specifically specialized in wildlife conservation, for me choosing a safari company was a very important part of preparing for the trip. The truth is that there are many options available if you want to do a safari in Africa, but we ended up choosing Udare because from the outset we thought it offered a complete service, detailed in terms of information for the traveler and, once we had the first talks with Aitor, a lot of transparency.How nice to be able to confirm that we were right! In short, what we stand out from our experience in Kenya and Tanzania is that we could see absolutely everything and more (very special the sighting of a pair of leopards in Serengeti, white rhinoceros in Nakuru, the 6 black rhinos in Ngorongoro or the 56 (!) Lions that we saw in total) and we were able to do it in the hands of some excellent guides and drivers who were respectful with the animals at all times (please, look for companies that understand this. If you are looking for close-up photos, bring a good lens instead of get within 2 meters of the animal). Laurence and Bruno knew how to take us to the heart of Tanzania like no one else, but personally we want to highlight the 4 days with our driver James and our guide Jospehat (who at the age of 25 already has almost perfect Spanish and a knowledge of the fauna and the brutal environment). Very important to do a safari with a driver and a guide! The driver simply has to be aware of driving (because my friend, the roads in Africa ...) and the guide to guide; This is how the safari is squeezed in the best possible way.The accommodations that Udare suggested were also very successful (we indulged in Ilkeliani in Masai Mara and Kubu Kubu in Serengeti and they were both spectacular).Finally, we must also mention the role of Aitor and Gregory. They were there at all times to give us assistance and answer questions. Above all, Aitor was guiding us in the preparation of the trip and was always available when we needed him. Gregory, for his part, took over when we had already chosen our itinerary and was always aware of us during the trip.

Our experience with UDARE has been sensational from the first moment. Gregory helped us from the beginning to map out our itinerary, giving us the information we asked for and giving us advice. He has been very attentive and has always responded promptly to our questions. We organized the trip with them before the pandemic and we had to postpone it but they did not put us in any problem, either when postponing it or resuming the trip a year later.In Kenya, we were welcomed by Colleta - the guide - and Eduard - the driver. Eduard only spoke English but he was very attentive to us and his driving was very good, both in the parks and on the road, where facing Matatus is quite an adventure. With Colleta the experience has been wonderful, she speaks Spanish very well and it was a pleasure to be able to share the trip with her, since in addition to helping us in everything, we were able to have very interesting and pleasant conversations and talks. We laughed a lot and it allowed us to get to know Kenya and Tanzania much better. In addition to this, it must be said that Colleta must have 4 or 6 eyes, because she did not miss an animal on safari, she left us amazed. The safaris were great, the truth is that thanks to her and Eduard, their experience, their patience and their good work, we managed not only to see the big 5 in the Masai Mara (Rinoooooooo !!! Rinooooo !! ), but we were able to see two complete hunts; one of cheetahs and another of lions that were waiting for wildebeest to cross the Mara River on the other bank, it was E-S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-A-R. We also really liked that they were respectful with the animals and the park, respecting the normal and the path.For all this, thank you very much and we hope to see you again soon on another adventure. Of course we would repeat with our eyes closed.

The experience with Udare has been wonderful. We cannot fault it. They have been available to the minute every time we have made a query or request, Aitor from Spain and Gregory from Tanzania. They have informed us of all the formalities that we had to do before the trip.We had a certain respect for the trip, because we had never been so far and to such a different country. He speaks English and a few words in Spanish.They have both been very generous and we have felt very comfortable with them. In the end they have been our family for five days. The safari depends more on them than on the weather or the animals you see and we cannot say anything bad about them. We imagine that in Udare there will be people as good as them (in fact we know, because we have coincided with other Spaniards who were very happy with Udare), but better than Bruno and Mgona it is impossible. We hope that we never stop being kaka and dada for them.Regarding the places we visited, the itinerary was as follows:Day 1: Arrival at Kilomanjaro airport. We sleep in Arusha (Outpost Lodge hotel, breakfast included)Day 2: Tarangire. We sleep in Karatu (Eileens tree hotel, full board)Day 3: Ngorongoro. We sleep in Serengeti (Acacia Camps hotel, full board)Day 4: Serengeti. We slept in Serengeti in the same hotel. It was the best of the trip: sleeping listening to animal noises, being in the middle of nowhere ...Day 5: Serengeti. We sleep in Karatu (Eileens tree hotel, full board)Day 6: cultural visit to a town I dont remember the name of. It was the most beautiful experience of the trip. We cycled through banana plantations and rice fields, sampled banana beer, visited a school, and ate with a local family. The food is delicious. We sleep in Arusha (Outpost Lodge hotel, breakfast included)Day 7: Kilimanjaro airportWe recommend doing everything in this order, because every day you add a more beautiful and more impressive place with a greater number of different species. Between one point and another there are two, three or four hours of distance by road. But it is true that in the car it is comfortable. The seats are very wide and the landscape is changing, so you cant stop looking out the window. All the hotels have been very good: very comfortable beds, clean, good food… We would not change any of them. It is true that sometimes the picnics that they prepare for you for food are a little rare or repetitive, but in the end everything is shared, even with other travelers. And there is always plenty of fruit to fill your stomach with. The fruit here is delicious, everything is very tasty. All transfers are included, as well as water, in addition to the meals already mentioned. The price has been $ 2,150 per person.Thanks to Aitor, Gregory, Mgona and Bruno for making this possible. After asking for a quote and reading opinions from a multitude of companies, we finally decided on Udare. The opinions of other travelers, the price they offered us as well as that with this company you travel with a driver and guide, made us choose them.Everything worked well from the beginning, communication with Aitor from Spain and with Gregory from Tanzania was clear, fast and fluid. They solved all the doubts that we generated and tried to adapt to our budget as much as possible. Once in Tanzania our guide Gabriel and our driver Kennedy were the best. Gabriel loves his job, he is very professional, he knows a lot about animals and their customs (as well as astronomy) and he speaks Spanish very well.
