The accommodation was fantastic and the activities she organised, hot air ballooning and meeting the tribes were amazing experiences. Hello,We had an absolutely insane stay with Vaisel, our lovely guide who went out of his way to make sure we had an idyllic time. Note here his exceptional conduct which makes us feel permanently safe.We had booked very little time (3 weeks) before leaving, in the midst of a health crisis, but everything went very well.Virginie and Kelvin were really supportive in avoiding administrative problems.I would also like to point out that Virginie is very available and responsive. She even postponed her bedtime to check that we had arrived at the lodge on the first night at 12:30 am. Our trip started at arusha airport. As soon as we arrived, Virginie from Kibowhy Safari and her guide Isaya were waiting for us. This trip was prepared before the covid period and we were finally able to experience it. Virginie knew how to identify our desires and offered us a tailor-made safari. Everything was perfect: the lodges were very pleasant and comfortable, the friendliness of the staff is to be mentioned as well as the flavor of the cuisine. Animals were present at each of our outings: Lake Magnara, Serengeti Park, Ngorongoro Crater. The 2 nights spent at the bush camp in the heart of the Serengeti are an incredible experience. We were lucky enough to see a lion roar or to witness the birth of a baby gazelle. Our French speaking guide was able to answer our questions and these explanations were timely and very interesting. We also noted the importance of the agency for the maintenance of their vehicle. We also did some activities like canoeing, ziplining and visiting a coffee plantation. In November, I went for the 3rd time to Tanzania and my 2nd time with the Kibowhy agency (1st time in February 2019). And yes for me it was obvious to leave with this agency. The first time having been a success, I did not hesitate to contact Virginie again. Having 4 safaris to my credit (Tanzania x2, Namibia, South Africa) and in love with felines, this time I wanted to go on a somewhat original safari, a special feline. We have just returned from our wonderful trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar.During my research almost 3 years ago now I made several quotes from 5 different agencies and my choice fell easily on Kibowhy Safari. We were able to discover the 4 large parks: Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, with their magnificent landscapes and their wide variety of animals (gazelles, lionesses, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest, baboons, hyenas, jackals, many species of birds and even 1 leopard and a group of cheetahs, we also attended the lioness meal with 2 wildebeestโฆ).Isaya, our driver / guide was very knowledgeable considering the difficulty of driving on the tracks while having a keen eye to find the animals hidden in the landscape. Thank you also to our translator Paul, who told us the names of all the species encountered, giving us information on their characteristics. What can we say, except that everything was perfect! Virginie has put together a tailor-made trip for us; she is attentive and caring and she was always there before the trip to answer my many organizational questions and sometimes my anxieties. This time spent with the Sonjo is necessarily a very emotional moment: my daughter and I went to fetch water with the women and learned their way of carrying. As for the boys, they helped build a pen for the goats.We then took the road to the Serengeti Park and there we experienced unforgettable moments: everywhere a profusion of animals that we did not imagine. Among our best memories: the hunting scene of 2 lionesses and their 2 cubs, the cheetahs, the majesty of the herds of elephants and this quantity and diversity of incredible animals in front of which we all had amazed eyes. We were lucky enough to spend 1 month in Tanzania this summer after postponing our trip initially scheduled last year. For the part of the trip on the continent we were looking for an organization that listened to our desires and especially away from the tourist factories that are some companies organizing Safaris. This excursion turned sour and luckily we had met Virginie on the plane to go to Tanzania๐ so we took her contact details and contacted her. Hello everyoneLike many, we got to know Kibowhy Safaris from the backpacker, so were happy to give you feedback.We went to Tanzania in August as a family with 2 of our children aged 19 and 15, for 15 days with an extension to ZanzibarFollowing my various readings, I had made 3 requests for quotes and our choice fell on Kibowhy. Virginie was able to offer us a travel plan that met our expectations with a visit to Tarangire Park, Manyara Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti then an extension to Zanzibar with a flight from the Serengeti (Serona / Zanzibar) .We left Paris with the company Qatar Aiways (tickets purchased in May 2020) with a stopover in DOHA. Our flight having been canceled, we had to modify our departure and in our case, we left 1 day earlier (no problem on the part of Qatar Aiways) and Virginia adapted very quickly by offering us activities.A fairly long waiting time on arrival between verification of the questionnaire, temperature measurement, PCR test etc.Here we are in Tanzania where a driver awaits us to drive us to our hotel.Everything was organized from the start to the end of our stay by Virginie, whom we would like to thank.The choice of lodges throughout our safari was really very satisfying. From our arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, Virginia and Isaya were there to welcome us. We went for two weeks in Tanzania / Zanzibar with the Kibowhy agency for 6 days in the North of Tanzania and 8 days in Zanzibar for kitesurfing. We were very well advised by Virginie, founder of Kibowhy, who organized a tailor-made trip for us. We were a group of 4 who all used to organize our vacations on our own. With my companion, we dreamed of going on a safari to observe the animals in their natural environment. After some internet research, I came across Kibowhys Facebook page. Amazing landscapes.A short detour to Lake Eyasi, beautiful environment with a splendid lodge (not that this one besides, the selection of accommodation by Kibowhy was exceptional!): Lake Eyasi Lodge. Meeting in unknown land with Hadzabe and Datoga. A lot of emotions, it puts your feet back on the ground.Future travelers, its to live!And here we go back we spent the day in the coffee plantation picking coffee from the trees and roasting it. The homestay lunch was the best of the stay although all the accommodations had delicious meals but there it had a different flavor.The departure to the airport was very difficult, the return to everyday life too.So as we choose Kibowhy without hesitation, you will have a personalized follow-up, listening, professionalism, passion.THANKS ASANTE SANA to Virginia, Kelvin and John for those moments we will never forget.Margaux and Co

I dreamed of going to meet my favorite animals elephants, also what happiness to approach so close.Kelvin and Virginie by their kindness, their patience, their professionalism have greatly contributed to make this trip wonderful. We had established a safari tailor-made with Virginias proposals according to our wishes and really the reality to exceed all our expectations. let the wild beauty of the savannah and live the present moment remain the main words of this trip. Djambo! We have just returned from 12 days of a magnificent trip that Virginie tied up for us and which still amazes us. We wanted to take an exotic family trip with our 10 and 13 year old daughters that would leave them with unforgettable memories and we won!We opted for a bike ride on the shores of Lake Manyara, in the rice fields and banana plantations (with tasting of banana beer in a very authentic bar); then direction the Serengeti and Ngonrogoro (be careful to roll the r ๐) before going to meet the Hadzabรฉ and Datoga tribes and finish in Zanzibar.Obviously the high point was our 4 days of safari accompanied by our super guide Adam who, while driving, spotted us unforgettable scenes (group of lions tasting a still fresh buffalo while the vultures are already patiently waiting for their turn, a serval coming to snatch the remains of a wildebeest, a solitary elephant who did not want us to drive on HIS track) but was also unbeatable on all the magnificent birds that we could observe (my favorite: the superb starling) and always pole pole. Hats off to Adam for his reassuring ride on waterlogged tracks that made us fear getting stuck, but no!The lodges we stayed at were great. Special mention to the secret Manyara (and its outdoor shower), to the Lions paw in Ngonrogoro (and its private wood fire) and to the bush camp Kisura Serengeti camp (in a tent of course, in water saving ok but in canopy beds, wooden floor and zipper impenetrable by the nocturnal animals of which we discover in the early morning small or large traces of their nocturnal passage in front of the tent). And finally the Mwezi boutique in Zanzibar whose room with sand on the ground and open mezzanine delighted our girls ๐Thank you very much to Virginie who during the construction of the stay listened to our desires, before departure made herself available to answer our practical questions but above all heard from us and followed our journey every day! In short, real support and experience sharing even from a distance! Asante sana Kibowhy!
We had a trip as exceptional as we could dream of.Thanks to the opinions gleaned here and there, we decided to call on Kibowhy for this trip to Tanzania with 3 days in Zanzibar, as a family (2 children aged 7 and 9)From the first contact, fluid and concerned, the choice was validated. The design of the circuit was seen with us explaining the advantages of the choices made.We had total confidence in Virginie and have not had to regret it. Everything was perfect, the safaris absolutely spectacular, our guide, Vaisel, was available and very attentive in addition to being a very nice person. The accommodations were simply stunningWe filled up with images and memories and enjoyed privileged moments in settings that were each more enchanting than the other.The Ngorongoro crater is a marvel.The 3 days in Zanzibar were a welcome moment of idleness and absolutely heavenly.In short, pure happiness and strictly everything was fantastic.
