Good company for safari and mount climping

Excellent trip organized by Tabia Safaris to Tanzania and Zanzibar. The duration was 13 days (including the round trip by plane) and the total price was unbeatable. It was our honeymoon trip and not a single detail was missing.On our route through Tanzania we saw the Materuni, Tarangire, Ngorongoro waterfalls, we slept in a camp at Lake Manyara (amazing to sleep with the animals surrounding your tent!) And the Serengeti. We also made a brief visit to a Masai village. The vehicle for the safari was comfortable and the food good and more than enough, sometimes too much! But the best part of the trip, without a doubt, was the company of our guides Justin and Maulibi who had great experience and mastery of the area and where to find the animals.We traveled to Zanzibar by plane, stopping in Arusha, and there we visited Stone Town and moved through different areas of the island: Jambiani, Kiwengwa, snorkeling in Mnemba and ending in a Kendwa resort.The hotels selected by Tabia were excellent and of an adequate category. We had an incident in the last hotel reservation that was properly addressed.Without a doubt, if we travel to the country again, we will repeat with Tabia.Thank you very much Eugeni for this great experience!

A HORROR!We hired this agency for our honeymoon for May 2020. I have to say that communications with them were extremely slow, but we still decided on this agency. Unfortunately because of the whole Covid issue we had to cancel it, first postponing it to May 2021 and finally canceling it.At first, when we postponed the trip to 2021 and presented them with the option of canceling, they told us that there would be no problem and that they would return the corresponding money.The problem came when in January 2021 we transferred the decision to cancel the trip to them, trying to get in touch with Tabia to find a solution and after numerous messages, either they did not answer us or they put us off telling us that they would give us an answer shortly and that They would inform us of everything.During these months we have been insisting and giving the company facilities to return our money in the most comfortable way possible, we have requested claim forms and there is no response, we have written through the OCU and neither have we sent them their cancellation policy which, of course, has a penalty in our case, a penalty that we are aware of and we are satisfied with, but nothing... IT IS DESPERATE!!Finally, on September 21, 2021, they answered us indicating that 50% of what they owed us would be paid that week and the other 50% the following week. Since we no longer trusted their words, I asked them to please send me proof of the transfer made and after several days and, according to them, being confused with Patricia and making the deposit in another account number (INCREDIBLE BUT TRUE), on September 30 we receive the first payment.The second payment... well, another song again and as of February 9, 2022, after more than a year we are still waiting. We have continued to ask and they give us long answers of this type: what would be done about October 20, what would they tell us something next week, that it would be out soon but they could not tell me the exact date, what would it be for the beginning of January. .. The first night we spent in Arusha we prepared the room with rose petals on the bed, at dinner on the second night in Tarangire we had private Masai dance with private show not to mention the park that we loved. I loved the atmosphere in this country, I fell in love with the children in an orphanage, we did the family safari with children and my 8 year old son already wants to return, he loved the animals and the whole tour of Kenya. We have been 2 couples and we have loved the hotel Karatu de Ngorongoro, apart from the fact that the crater is brutal, we were also able to experience an adventure night in Angani Serengeti, since after a few beautiful days of seeing much more animals than we expected in Angani near animals, (giraffes, elephants, etc.), 100% is recommended. Enjoying in Tanzania is very easy since the country gives you everything done, but that they attend you well, that the hotels are acceptable and I no longer say good ... and that the guides are native and create a bond with you from day one I think it is very important for the end customer and that is achieved with good management. We returned 4 days ago from what has been one of the best trips of our life. We are amazed at what we were able to see there, even if it was hot we enjoyed every day of family safari. We were worried about the issue of children on such a trip ... and the result has been surprising. We did night in Arusha for the next day and start with the Safari. We walked the first day through the jungle of Mañara, we saw animals (giraffes and elephants above all), but we did not see what we were waiting for, lion, leopard, rhinoceros and hippopotamus ... but the next day it was solved in Ngorngoro volcano, now that we saw these 4 that we needed perfectly less the black rhinoceros that we saw from afar. They have guides who speak Spanish. For the safaris, you stay at Angani Tented Lodge or at Angani Serengeti Camp, which are quite good. Something very important is that although they are located in Arusha, they have an office in Spain and you can process everything with them, so it is like contracting with a local company in terms of price but with the advantages of contracting with a Spanish company. I will never recommend this agency, not only because of the disorganization and misinformation they have, but because of the great security problems we had.The mountain guide was not a certified guide, and that should be mandatory to peak over 4600 meters. He took us in rainy and foggy conditions at 1 am on a closed night when the rest of the guides advised their clients that the conditions were very bad and dangerous to climb, and therefore they stayed in the safe haven.
